Nice! The head looks odd (I prefer toy accurate er... toys) but otherwise great. I plan to have Inferno with the Gears of War kit, so Inferno, Grapple, and Pyro will all look different on my CUG shelves.

As a toy this is very nice, but as an updated, more screen accurate version this is such an epic failure! To me what gave inferno and grapple character or at least what made them unique was the special head sculpts they both had in the G1 series, I personally think their G1 moulds despite the lack of mobility actually look better and I also don't like the design of the truck, the model in the G1 series seemed to work well for both despite their different functions but this model doesn't. Grapple looks more or less like a yellow fire truck which looks really odd to me! Will definately be giving this guy a pass!!

Great stuff. I made the right choice choosing Hasbro over the United version.

I'm still miffed that they didn't attach the crane to his back.

Inferno has a folding flap on his back, couldn't they have mounted it on that hinge?

Maybe its just me but all that sculpted detail on the sides in alt mode really needs some extra paint.

It's not a bad looking figure, though I'm not sure I'll be picking it up. I think it would look a little better if they had used some of that silver paint on the hook. Overall, pretty nice. I'm just not a big fan of the mold.

I'm not too big a fan of the new head. And why the open hands? Seems to be a trend.

Otherwise, not bad looking. I'll probably pick it up.

It's strange how these pics made Hasbro's Grapple appear to be a shade of yellow but KOToys' pics make him closer to orange...

Will gladly get the Hasbro version. :)  Kudos to them for the amount of remoulds they managed to squeeze into this.

I don't like how they made the arm panels non-movable... they look much nicer after you can swivel them around on Inferno.

Is it just lighting differences, or does the united version look more 'orangey'?

Loving how they put so much remolding effort into this toy, not going for it right away as I want all new molds first but this guy is on my list.

I love this guy, I love all the little changes they fit into him, and I will definitely be picking him up. I REALLY like this "open hands" thing they've been doing lately. Looks like he can still hold standard weapons in his right hand at least.

I will also be drilling a hole in that back panel so I can stick the crane off his arm in bot mode.

I hate to...hate, but it's not uncommon for KOToys galleries to have lighting that makes the toys look a bit off. Wait for pictures from other sources, perhaps.

Honestly, if it weren't for the orange head, the United version would be the winner in my book. That and the lack of silver paint on the wrists. And the $50 price tag.

In other words: I'm still on the fence. Sorta.
