Here's my new year present to folks of tfw2005 boards enjoy :)

He's quite small, but is in scale with megatron now, but only stream lined deluxes fit in him. Sideswipe has over lap, wheel hack fits perfect. But enjoy pics :)

^ Odd, thought he'd come with that repainted version of Jolt's. I guess you can arm him up with the MechTech in your collection, stow it in the trailer.

You wouldn't happen to have a Voyager Movie Prime to hook up to the trailer would you?
Besides that, incredibly happy that this is coming out over here.

Looks FUGLY. But it is a DOTM Optimus Prime, and all of the domestic ones I've seen look like garbage. Honestly, the only Optimus Prime with trailer that look good are G1, MP-10, MP-04, MP-04S and/or MP-01, MP-1L, MP-1B with a third party trailer. There are others, to a lesser degree too, I just listed my favorites. I mean Cybertron, Armada, and G2 aren't that bad. I guess the DOTM Primes have one good thing going for them; compared to Energon (Pregnant) Optimus Prime, the DOTM Primes look pretty good.

I would have preferred the classic style transformation for the trailer where it splits down the middle. It's a good thing I have the Takara voyager version w/ trailer. I wanted to give this DLX version a shot though.

Doesn't look like it can hold the Japanese McDonalds toys like the Takara Chronicles version.

I love the scaled down approach, making this figure/trailer combination very pleasing to the eye, but I absolutely hate the paired down, bare bones approach to everything else. In fact, this may go into my 'biggest missed opportunity of 2011' file...right alongside such luminaries for the year as DOTM dlx Sideswipe and Ultimate OP.

Even the 80's Optimus/trailer toy had more life, vitality, and character than this mess. Why just a dumb old empty box for a trailer?! Isn't there anything else they could have done with that? Perhaps not the old roller and fix-a-bot gadgetry of the 80's toy, but SOMETHING at least?? Sigh... :(

To be honest, the less gimicks the better. Part of the problem with the Ultimate version is all the damn breaks in it since it turns into that suit. If they arn't going to give us the ring of awesomeness, I am perfectly happy with a basic trailer. Just not something worth getting too upset over.

The darker grey plastic makes a world of difference. Smokes the 1st deluxe Walmart Prime. Dig how it's in scale to voyager Megatron.

Of all the new mold USA DOTM Primes, the deluxe one had the best sculpt. This one could've at least came with a mechtech gun. Also wish the trailer wasn't so bare bones.

When the Deluxe version is being displayed next to Ultimate Prime,it is like Daddy Prime bring his Baby Prime for a stroll,LOL

Interesting that he's in scale with Voyager Megatron, who is admittedly too small in scale compared to Deluxe car-bots/cons. I might bite on this if only to have those two in scale with other another (maybe a Leader Starscream in alt mode as a near scale jet to represent my "Big Three" display).

Any chance of putting the Deluxe trailer on the "TF Prime" Voyager Optimus figure in alt mode to see how that combo looks?

Too be fair he's a cool figure for people who can't afford ultimate or voyager prime with trailer. I will do a review but id give him 8/10 after messing around with him :)
