Who here believes that we are overanalizing the up's and down's of the new movies??

    Not me.

You're on a Transformers website, in a subforum dedicated to the recent Transformers movies. What exactly did you expect?

    Uh, what defense is that?

If you are unhappy with people over analyzing the movies, would you prefer if we just leave it at "THEY SUCK BALLZ".

    You're absolutely right.
Lets head on over to the comics forum and nitpick the IDW Ongoing series instead.

Well, the obvious answer to this would be:
"if you hate Transformers so much, then why are you here?"

:popcorn  This thread is gonna be EPIC!

People have their own opinions. I for one actually liked and enjoyed ROTF. But just because somebody disagrees with you isn't any reason to get your feelings hurt over it. Folks disagree. Suck it up and get over it.

In what possible way is that an obvious answer to that question? It's not even a logical answer to the question, let alone an obvious one. I think you'll find what you've posted is a non sequitur.

I think Bay&Co. are experimenting with this, seeing what works and what doesn't work. How can they pull this off by using the simple Trial and Error technique. I think they can do it. Bay is a pretty good director, not Hitchcock or Spielberg, but not Uwe Boll either.

:)  Optimus Sledge avoids the question and is mean at the same time.

In Sledge's defense, he may like aspects of the Transformers fandom but he doesn't need to like all of them. But hey, I'm a fan of RoTF, so I think it's against the rules to support someone...

Right, you're going to have to explain how that question had anything to do with the discussion at hand. I'm obviously missing something, so this is your opportunity to educate me.

Wow. This has to be a new record for movie forum threads.

Anyway, I actually think we should be going after Orci and Kurtzman instead of Bay. But that's just me.

Um. It didn't. I was merely defending you.

Even if he needed it, a logical one wouldn't be found here.

The question doesn't really make much sense. "Do people who choose to spend their time analysing ROTF think we're overanalysing it?" Hmm, I wonder what the answer will be... :D

Because it's the answer that usually makes its way into these conversations.

In my opinion despite our personal opinions of the films, we also nee to recognise that Mr. Bay (given the wide spread popularity of the films not to mention profits) has reenrgised our hobby. The movies may not be perfect but do you think Transformers is a line that will die anytime soon? I think Michal Bay should get some credit for this!!
