Magnus looks great, despite the fact that he looks like his legs should be a bit bigger. I can't wait to have that awesomehugehammerthatturnsintoahugegun thing!

 

Thundertron looks pretty good. I'm pleased they make the pegleg thing an option instead of an actual substitute for the foot, because I can only imagine balancing him with that pegleg is gonna suck. I do wish his face was like, painted or something, though. It's clear that there's lots of detail in there, but the white just looks bad in that light.

Ultra Magnus...well, DAYUMN. He sort of manages to pull off the "like Optimus" look in robot mode while at the same time not looking anything like him. I also like the fact he comes with a huge cannon that turns into a battle hammer AND a giant missile that just attaches to his other arm. I don't have any Voyager Powerizers, so I don't know if the weapons on either of these guys will lock in "Deployed mode" unlike those shitty Mechtech guns from DOTM, but I hope they lock because that hammer just looks awesome.

 

I don't really watch TF: Prime, but is UM on the show or is scheduled to be on it?

 

Magnus looks great. Manuel a little on the boring side, but still cool.

Thundertron. Wow....I'm not a fan of beastformers except when they look like robot beasts, ie laserbeak...ravage...this one is different enough from everything else released in the last 5 years to warrant a buy.

 

Wow! Must have both!   These two look amazing!

And, man, is that a HUGE ax Magnus is carrying around, or what?

Now that we saw the Hasbro, let's hope the TTomy version has painted smokestack like the Cyberverse and painted mirror too:

 

Both of these are awesome...hopefully I'll see them on shelves soon! They'll definitely make up for a dull past few of months of TF collecting.

 

So the Magnus hammer can actually stay extended out?

 

So since we got Wave 2 (Bulkhead and Starscream) in April - then didn't get Wave 3 Dreadwing until September - does that mean we won't get UM and TT until Feb 2013?

 

I know I'm in the minority, but both of these look terrible. Not a fan of Thundertron and I'm not Magnus is not stocky enough for my liking.

 

Apparently Magnus' hammer locks, but none of the other Powerizer weapons do.
It's really a shame because they are really great toys with the exception of those big stupid weapons that "transform" into -nothing, really.

 

Ultra Mag's bot mode actually looks pretty terrible.

 

Magnus looks good but I worry that the robot mode is going to be a bit top heavy and a little light on paint apps. The hammer looks pretty sweet.

I know I'm in the minority here but I don't like the look of Thundertron at all. It's not working for me. That being said, I LOVE the redesigned Decepticon symbol.

Was only gushing over Thundertron but seeing the in-hand photos of UM has kindled my desire for having him too.

 

As a fan of beast wars, I will be getting thundertron for the sole purpose of getting a new beast former again. I can't even remember the last time we even had one and I don't even collect prime
