Don LaFontaine Dies At 68
I'll miss him.
George Lowe (Space Ghost) was just talking about him. It was funny at the time, now it's sad. (he wasn't dead at the time)
So that's the guy who does the voiceover for almost every single movie trailer?
Shame. So young.

Holy crap. No one will ever be able to take this guy's place. It just won't be right.
If there were ever a worthy successor to Don, it would be this guy:

Don will be missed. I know Peter Cullen has mentioned him at least once or twice during interviews. I wonder if Pete and Frank know yet?!
OKay That SUCKS big time...
RIP, in a world of life after death....
I like making the "IN A WORLD..." joke, because this guy had such an excellent sense of humour about what he did.
He really was one of the last guys I ever would stop and realize as someone who could pass away.
Trailers will never be the same.
Holy shit - he was so young.
And yes, movie trailers will never be the same without him.
That's terrible news. He definitely will be missed.
That sucks. He was a very cool and funny guy.
He'll be missed, but we will be able to move on, somehow.
I just heard a bunch of his promos over the weekend... sad to see him leaving so soon.
He'll be missed. Nothing will ever compare to his work!
How will they ever make trailers again?
that sucks so HARD
total hero of the world
it's not going to be the same
Man, we'll going to miss this man's voice and the man himself. To you Don LaFontaine, King of the Movie Voiceovers.
Moroni Prime- Dude, I think that might be close to Don's voice as he can get, but he's a comedian, but if once to do that, then that'll be cool to hear in that voice. It might be eerily but I think a good homage to the late Don LaFontaine.
One more thing, I kinda find his voice almost similar to Peter Cullen's Optimus Prime voice, but I'm just spectulating and you know I find it kinda cool in a way as well. So Godspeed, Mr. LaFontaine. Thanks for the great movie voiceover memories. You'll be missed deeply.
He's really become the voice of the trailer and without him it really will never be the same.
This guy was EVERYWHERE.
I'm sure everybody will notice even if they don't know his name.
Separate names with a comma.
