Spyro -- Take my advice. If there's any user on this site that you have problems with, you should talk with one of the moderators. Don't make the mistakes I've made, trying to take matters into my own hands only to get slapped with infractions.
I'm not looking to start a "typing fight," as I've had one too many in the past month, and want no part of one.
So the way to not get in to a "typing fight! is to publically out people you have issue with? Be grateful that so far these people are being gracious enough to let it lie and not jump in and retort to the accusations. A course of action I strongly suggest both yourself and Spyro take as technically speaking, you are both breaking rule one by doing so. For gods sake, T+C, you're a grown up, start behaving like one. Spyro has the excuse of being a fair bit younger. You're more than old enough to know how to conduct yourself better.
This was all apparently a misunderstanding. I have NEVER made fun of anyone. I only "joined the crowd" in Kickback's "assburgers" thread. I PM'd T+C, and she told me so, and thought I had made fun of others.
My apologies, Twin Twist. I went and edited my posts. If you want me to, I can delete them. I've also got done with having a private chat with Mechafire, so we both got things cleared up and starting off fresh. I promise, I'll do my best to not be reckless with what I say in my posts.
Budha would be so proud if he could read this thread. Seriosuly, everybody is resolving everything calmly...I like that.
Technically any single off-topic reply can be considered spam. I think the rules of spamming should be made extremely specific.
After having my chat with Mechafire, I really do feel a lot better knowing that we got things all straightened out. I just hope I can resolve things peacefully should I have any problems with any other user. If I can't resolve things peacefully by talking things out, then at least I can try other peaceful means to resolve things. I have to agree... no offense, but if the rules can be amended so that they are very specific about what's okay and not okay, it can make things a whole lot easier. Though, if we are unable to understand any of the rules, is it alright to contact one of the mods to clarify things or would that be too much of a hassle? Just curious.
Of course you can. Generally things are taken on a case by case basis hence why there is percieved inconsistency sometimes. There are points during lulls and excessively busy times where things might get a little looser or tighter depending on what's going on, most importantly Moderators and Admins can't read every single post made which is why the "report post" feature is essential in helping things getting dealt with that might otherwise be missed. Again, your reported post might not really be rule-breaking or worthy of action but they do help us by identifying potential problem members and or threads regardless.
