Ok, so I found these the other day all I saw was the Triceratops and I held off but today they were on sale and I had to pull the trigger on the Apatosaurus.

Apparently the story is about them harnessing up dinos and looking for crystals wonder where that came from?

Imaginext Apatosaurus - Fisher Price Toys - Imaginext

I can't wait to get more, the urge to repaint was there but something just clicks with these guys.

Some very similar themes run within these new armors and the old.

Get to Target, I have only seen this guy, Triceratops, Pteradon, none of the smaller class unfortunately.

There are s few differences the rope on mine is black and all the armor and rocks are transparent.

Here iare a couple of pictures from a site don't know the guy but credit to him they are from Toy Fair.

there's a lot of really cool dinosaur toys out there if you look for them. I kinda want a kid just so I have an excuse to buy them!

i have liked the ImagiNext line in general from afar; i don't have room to collect them, but i have bought a few for gifts to friends' kids.

the gimmicks on the ones i have seen are simple, they are sturdy and reliable. personally, i ignore the age suggestion for TFs and give these to kids instead- at least until the kids are 8 or 9.

There's a ton of these with an epic animated display at my Target. They actually look really fun...I still have all my old Dino-Riders, too :)

Has anyone seen the T-rex or the smaller ones like the raptor?

I was wondering how the Rex was going to be packaged.

yeah saw these a few weeks ago and thought the same thing about Dino Riders; but the cartoony human figures ruin it for me

yeah, their heads are like light-bulbs. The older Imaginext figures were MUCH better. I can't understand the change...cheaper just to paint the SAME head than make hair?
But, thankfully, Batman and Superman can ride on the dinos too.

The bad thing about them is the gray and purple plastic they used easily cracks.

I still have seen no new dinos and If I had never got the Stegosaurus and Dimetrodons I saw I would have not seen them again.

These figures are wicked cool, but I have a space issue also and I just can't afford to collect these. Maybe someday if I get closet space or storage space. Very cool stuff though. I also wish the armor was not translucent and maybe the figures had a more unique look to them, but the armored up dinos look incredible.

I thought the same thing when I saw the original commercials. I would've bought some for myself if they weren't so kiddified. Still, they look pretty nice for what they are, and they're definitely inspired by Dino Riders.

I totally though the same thing, and I hope it actually gets expanded into something larger.
