Looks more like Toyworld's Devastator now, narrow torso and all....

Between this and all of the recent interpretations, I feel Devy'd out. :/

I swear this sculpt comes from Maketoys Type-61 Devastator, especially the head. So I am confused, what is actually getting released the one bent over one or the Maketoys one?

    Rock solid.

Except the head. I'm not too keen on that... Devy has such an iconic head, it's odd to see different versions (did the G1 original need "improvement"???).

Easily fixable if the company offered changeable skulls on this statue (which would probably help sell to the G1 fans - i.e. most collectors).

EDIT: Then again, depending on the aesthetic of the overall statue, a more G1-accurate head might look off (assuming the body is more realistic than G1).

My friend works for I.A. he stated that this is the one we are getting The diorama one is not getting made. No Autobots to make it cheaper, no hunch because of weight.

Isn't this the 2nd time Type 61 was in official Hasbro promotional material. I thought there was a Hasbro quarter presentation that had it.

That\'s... that\'s amazing.  Since Imaginarium is a legit licensee, Hasbro has finally figured out a roundabout way to make money off Third Party interpretations of their IP.  Wonder how Maketoys feels about their design being quasi-official now? I\'d suspect it\'s a kind of commingled pride and chagrin.
