Botcon 2010 Hasbro Designers Panel - Transformers News

 

They were only shown at botcon; never seen on the internet.

 

They haven't been made public since that panel, and as usual photography was prohibited.

 

I'm curious what's the name of the original 13 TFs and their background? Is there anywhere I can read about them? My bad - I'm out of the loop in these matters.

Not too shabby. It would be cool if they kinda sat around observing all of the events and added unity to all of the TF Universes. Like Watchers in Marvel, or the gods on Olympus.

 

Thanks! I'm amazed how much the TF mythos have evolved! During my time, it was just a power hungry TF by the name of Megatron who ignited the war! LOL!

 

Anyone care to describe the five shown in more detail, fan art maybe? Someone at TFWiki said Megatronus/the Fallen looked like a "squat, ornately-carved boxy monstrosity whose whole body vaguely looked like a 'Con symbol, the face much moreso, with a big right-arm cannon".

 

Man I love all this stuff! Anything that fleshes out the background and the fiction for the Transformers as a whole I can't get enough of.

I'm not realy too bothered what they look like though.

 

Damn that's a real shame. I thought I had seen one of Alpha trion with his quill, I must have imagined it. Hope they release them this year or next.

 

Wait where are you getting five from i count alpha trion, nexus prime and the fallen (aka megatronus prime)

 

Vector Prime's had a toy since Cybertron, and Movie Protoform Optimus Prime has been repurposed as Prima.

 

If Logos Prime isn't one, I'll be rather put out. He works very well as one.
