i think we have a winner for the "most random 2 pack in the history of movie transformers" contest. that is so freaking random!   i would love 2 get a camshaft, loved the swindle mode, but not enough to get a 2nd megatron or optimus prime leader figure.

 

I think they had to balance the awesomeness of the two LC figures with something shitty. Camshaft does serve a purpose in this continuity after all!

Why, it makes so much sense! To package both figures with the same extra figure. So that there is absolutely no incentive to buy both "value" packs!

Not really, now Megatron has an Autobot to destroy.

Optimus, however...Camshaft can't really give up his face since he's just got an eye....so I think he's disappointed he wasnt paired with The Fallen for the Bonus pack.

 

Since it hasn't been said yet in this thread what a random choice for a bonus pack.  

 

So...Sam's Club or Costco? I'm 5thinking Sam's for this. I'm open to being wrong- it might no be either- but it looks like a warehouse store exclusive to me.

 

These things are ALWAYS exclusives.

 

Megatron should come with a Jazz that splits into two, since you know a random figure is being packaged any way 

 

Hmm, very interesting, and convenient for me. I've yet to get any of the RotF Leaders, and I've been contemplating on buying a Camshaft off eBay. Seeing as how RotF Megatron is easy to find, and the fact that Prime has that tiny bit of added paint, I think I'll be grabbing the Prime/Camshaft combo when/if it comes out around here.

 

Cool. I havent got any leaders yet. and i like camshafts mold so this is a definete yes.

A tiny bit is right. Since the shoulder pieces on the original release are actually molded in red plastic and painted silver, it looks to me like in order to add the gold they gave up the silver paint apps on the shoulders. Kinda funny.

Well, I don't have a leader Megatron and never got the Camshaft/Swindle mold. Might go for that one if I feel inclined to spend the money on Megs.

 

They should have re-released Prime with his rifle. That's the one reason I never bothered with him.

i was thinking the same thing.

 

I saw Camshaft warming the shelves since he got released and I never did once want him. Maybe if I hadn't had Swindle already I would have got him. But I didn't want that mold twice.
