^Ummm,the whole point is that they DIDNT let them release it. It was taken down immediately but some people copied the image before it was taken down. I understand that some of you might not WANT soundwave to be the SLS, but at this point its pretty conclusive that he is.

 

Really? Because I remember in the ramp up to Star Wars Episode One seeing an action figure that was a Queen Amidala/Pademe changing figure that kind of ruined the "surprise"* that Pademe was, in fact, the Queen all along!

How many spoilers have been ruined because the toys came out too quickly? I bet a bunch!

*Quotes because it clearly was supposed to be but anyone with half a brain cell (ie-NOT George Lucas it seems) saw it coming a mile away.

 

Well, I'm hoping that he changes by the end of the game (since the game takes place before the events of the movie).

If Soundwave is the SLS in the movie, then that's the first thing they've done that was a really poor idea. The SLS is a tiny car, and Soundwave shouldn't be as big as Bumblebee, Sideswipe, or Sideways. He should be bigger and more intimidating. Soundwave should be physically imposing.

Plus, it kind of shits all over the size they gave him in ROTF.

 

I'm not going to jump on that boat just yet, but I'm not jumping on the "S.S Soundwave is the Merc" boat yet either. There are several obvious things you have to remember.

• Bay has run misinformation campaigns before, so he could be lieing about Soundwave not being the Mercedes. He might not be though.
• This game is a prequel to Dark of the Moon, not an adaption. This meaning that something could change somewhere in the game.
• Bay did say what they do in the game is what they do in the game, and that it doesn't necessarilly apply to the movie. It was said that

  Stratosphere
  is supposed to be in the game, as well as several drones, including a very familiar looking one, yet we didn't see them in ROTF and they probably won't show up in DOTM.

Basically what I'm trying to say, I'm not jumping to any conclusions based on one screen shot from the game.

I for one will be waiting to see pictures of a toy or the Soundwave in the movie, which ever is put on the internet first.

I just can't see Mercedes allowing their car being a villain - this is why I find it hard to believe Soundwave is one in the films.

However, we've also got an Autobot Mercedes so perhaps they cut a deal, allowing a badguy to be one, so long as they got a goodguy car too.

 

I can't speak for Sss02V but that really wasn't directed at you. I was pretty certain that was just the end result of a quick Google Image search...but it still pisses me off.

Well, hopefully this isn't the case.

 

nce again I believe Soundwave is the SLS and the SUV....plus the Satelite
one for speed and stealth, one for power and advanced weaponry and one for stealthy space espionage

 

Again it isn't, Megatron is still a Cybertronian tank in the game but is a Mack Truck in the film. Soundwave could be anything in the film for all we know.

For the record, I don't actually mind Soundwave being a SLS. I just doubt he will be in the film.

 

Soundwave? Gorgeous graphics? Hope this isn't a cut-scene.
