I'm surprised Hasbro hasn't done this yet...

Don't you guys think that Hasbro should have already made a life size wheelie, fully transformable, that is an actual remote control car? I think it would be really cool, you could drive it around. Maybe even in robot mode, there could be big fold out stilts on his feet so he could roll and you could make him walk (roll).
I think that this would be a big hit with movie fans.

You're only gonna get two of those, so choose wisely.

I'm sure the idea has come up before, and I've had the thought myself.

But! You use the term "with movie fans" and I don't think there are enough straight "movie" fans to make this a viable product.

Look at Supreme Devvy. Now, he is selling, but not at the rate something that big and that expensive should to make big bucks for Hasbro.

I would love it was a normal RC car with a section that popped up like Fast Action Battlers to display a head and chest. Something not to ruin the quality of the RC car but add a gimmick.

You could have the button on the controls that lets it "transform"

    Expensive brick

Its a good idea in theory but in reality it would come out as a almost non-articulated figure.

... and a voice chip that says: "Say my name. Say my name."

But seriously, if the price was right I would consider buying one.

Considering the prop in the movie was made from parts of RC car toys of other companies, I'm hardly surprised.

I'd buy one if at least the upper body, head, and arms were articulated. Oh, and his head would actually have to look like wheelie, unlike his deluxe sized counterpart. But if they made it right, I'd be the first in line to get one

interesting idea but the costs involved would likely push the price past supreme devy's and make it extremely difficult for them to get enough sales to recoup the costs and make a profit on it

He's already a shelfwarmer as a DELUXE. He doesn't need an enormous life sized toy that'll shelfwarm larger than life. :lol

The only way I could see them being able to make an actual transforming RC Wheelie is if it was like a slightly more advanced Bumper battler, in where the torso of the character just pops up from the top of the altmode.

I donno, It's a neat idea, but it'd be expensive.

There's the Deluxe figure though so the legalities of the truck design aren't so hard to overcome. Just make the full-sized Wheelie the same truck design as the Deluxe.
