Lol! That's awesome. For a second I thought you meant Bayformers style BB, but G1 is just as awesome!

I think it's sweet that he made it from an actual VW bug.

Nice post, but could you edit your thread titles?
    "Bumblebee Replica" would work ok.
someone here will tell you if it is new or not automatically.

That's about 35 minutes south of Fresno where I live. I remember passing by it several times last year. I just had no idea it was something you could drive up to and see.

I think it's great that he took the time to make that, but as to how it looks, I don't really care for it much at all.

What I find more amusing is the blue, Optimus Prime-like semi truck in the background of one of the photos. Will Bumblebee be getting a friend soon? :)

I wouldn't be suprised to see that truck become Optimus Prime either.

Never been a big fan of the stick-legged interpretation of Bumblebee, but that is still an excellent piece of sculptural enginerring.

I'm sure it's something many old skool TF fans have thought about doing at some point. I know it's crossed my mind many times over the years.
It's a nice job but personally I'd have done stuff like the legs differently, perhaps more like the animation model.

Pew Pew!: Guy Builds Bumblebee In Yard - Geekologie

Was about to post my own thread about this...but the OP's link is better! Sweet!

Interpretation? It's the ORIGINAL Bumblebee. Only anything after it is an interpretation...
