...but I can still mend a servo or two" - Bumblebee showing his combat medicine skills on Arcee.

here's a piece I started a little while back that I'm almost through with. Needs color, and some more detail in the background. But I like how it's turned out so far.

EDIT: I've been coloring this by hand. Now, I don't have the skill of folks like GrungeWerx or KA, but I'm liking how this is coming out so far:

    "I'm no Ratchet..." Updated

I've been working on this some more. Pretty much finished Arcee, with the exception of some more shadowing for her grey components.

Question is, what color should I make the sky in the background? I was thinking of a deep red, to give it a different kind of contrast, but I might be wrong about that.

    What do you all think?

try coloring it on the PC with basic colors in order to decide without damaging the artwork in the process.

What a pleasure to the eyes! That update is awesome :thumb
I think a dark red for the background would look very nice, but I agree with SpriteSODA -
    First try - then paint...

(BTW: My 100th post! How sweeeeet :D  - I'm gonna drink somethin'...)

    Yet another update

Tried the MS paint suggestion - the red sky didn't look right, so I chose a midnight blue.

I also darkened the resolution a bit when I scanned it.

Now, my problem is trying to give the electric arc from the welder a bit of punch. It looks pretty "meh" right now. Problem is, I don't have any program other than MS Paint to add any color effects.

So, I'll be working on that, but anyway, enjoy!
