A band I know wants me to make a ping pong game for their website. Right now I'm programming in Shockwave (since I don't know Flash). Hopefully I will learn Flash soon after finishing the game and port it over. Anyway...

The game is about 60% done. There are no sounds yet and all visuals are placeholders until we get band related graphics rounded up. And yeah, the little opponent sprite is me. :)

Right now the physics and controlls are pretty much done. What I need is for people to tell me if the "local" league in the game is easy enough and if the whole thing plays alright with no game-breaking flaws.

So anyway, please give it a go and ignore the "Josh" opponent for now...his rules are a little wonky.

Oh, and please read the instructions on the opening screen or you'll find yourself playing against CPU opponents who never seem to let you score.

And if any of you get good enough to hang with the "world" league, let me know and let me know how long it took you to get there. I haven't made a "national" league yet to bridge the difficulty gap....

    Game is here:

Heh its a pretty damn cool little game man :)  Took a minute to work out what the heck i was doing but then it was cool. Good work man, in my few minutes of play i certainly found no flaws...

I beat 1-3, and 5 on the normal league. I was beating # 2 on the third league, when it froze up on me.

This is what the screen looked like when it froze:

PS: Learn Flash   It's really not that hard (I'm actually making a game myself at the moment, a breakout close)
