I got a jar of tamiya metallic blue that looked PERFECT online, but when I got it, I realized it has what appears to be way too much green in it. so I put on a coat this morning, and while it went on perfectly (via brush, might I add) it looks kinda off to me. but I was wondering what other people's opinions were:

Looks pretty damn close to the G1 toy which I though was the best looking blue that Thundercracker ever got. Good job on it by the way...

I think it looks fairly close to the original toy color and looks good at that.

The problem with T-cracker is whether you want to do toon colors or toy colors. I tried to go for color somewhere inbetween when I did mine.

I was going to go for toon colors, but after seeing a lot of other people's work, I thought that the toy colors looked a lot better, as well as less represented toy-wise.

Add me to the "likes it" column. Thundercracker looks best in dark, metallic blueberry-blue.... which is exactly what this looks like to me. I see what you mean about it having a very slight green tone, but that could just be the lighting. If you hadn't said something about it, I never would've thought "hey, that looks green!" Looks like a great Thundercracker color to me.

    I think it's a keeper. :)
