so i'm looking for a new monitor to plug into my laptop, decent resolution is a must (ideally want 1920 x 1200), widescreen, something around the 22-24 inch mark would be sweet too.

i won't be playing any games, so response time isn't a huge requirement, but i do design work so decent colour reproduction is quite high on my list, and glossy screens are out. a couple of usb ports would be useful too.

any of you guys have any recommendations? i've had a look at some Iiyama's LG's and samsungs as they have a decent reputation, but i'm too scared of buying a duffer.

i have a 19" samsung...but from what you want, the only thing mines offer is the 1440 x 900...mines has a glossy screen, 2ms response time, and no USB ports...input is only analog and DVI-D.

i think the 20"+ version (SyncMaster) of mines is the same.

Check out Dell's site, I think this was a little more than that but knowing Dell the price has probably dropped a fair bit.
