I'm not so hot on Transmetals yet, I'm lookin' to stick more to the "organic" animal alt-forms.

    Right now I have
    1. Claw Jaw
    2. Cybershark
    3. Razorclaw (the BWN Rockbuster deco)
    4. Sea Clamp (missing one blades and part for Tripredacus' sword)
    5. Snapper
    6. Transmetal Tarantulas (while I like it, it was given to me as a gift; missing gun)

While I technically have these, I don't count them as part of my collection as they're missing waaay too many pieces/broken.
    1. Cicadacon
    2. Ironhide
    3. Prowl (lion)
    4. Ram Horn
    5. Silverbolt (eagle)

I also own these and essentially count them among my BW collection (while they technically aren't):
    1. Beast Machines Magmatron
    2. Cybertron Megatron
    3. Cybertron Optimus Prime
    4. Dinobots Sludge
    5. Dinobots Snarl
    6. Universe Cheetor
    7. Universe Dinobot

    What I've just ordered:
    1. BWII Bighorn
    2. Megatron (crocodile)
    3. Optimus Primal (bat)
    4. Razorbeast

I have some interest in these, but I need some opinions/suggestions (on these, or other recommendations):
    1. Airazor
    2. Air Hammer
    3. Armordillo
    4. Bantor
    5. B'Boom
    6. BWN Crazybolt (Japanese version of Iguanus with different deco)
    7. Beast Machines Dinotron
    8. BWN Elphaorpha (Japanese version of Torca with different deco)
    9. Inferno
    10. Insecticon
    11. Noctorro
    12. Polar Claw
    13. Quickstrike
    14. BWII Santon (Japanese version of Ironhide)
    15. Scorponok
    16. BWII Skywarp (Japanese version of eagle Silverbolt)
    17. Spittor
    18. BWN Stampy
    19. Terragator
    20. Beast Machines T-Wrecks

I think people have wildly differing favourites, but I would track down Silverbolt, the Original Optimus Primal (or some variation of him) and Magnaboss (I see you have all the components , but are broken. Its quite hard to find a complete one, but I love him!).

I know you're not into Transmetals yet, but if you have the opportunity to grab a Tigerhawk, do so. He's great!

I remember loving Manterror and Jetstorm. Scorponok was really cool, too.

Highly recommend trying to get the 10th Anniversary Toys R Us two pack of Ultra Primal and Megatron. Those Ultra toys were worth far more than the $20 they used to sell at, being as good if not better than many modern day $40 figures.

I was considering getting them, and was actually fightin' fairly hard on eBay a while ago, didn't grab 'em; but that's why I ended up getting the Cybertron versions of Megatron and Optimus, as well as Universe Cheetor and Dinobot. Ended up costing me about the same, but I've always had that little itch in my head for the 10th Anniversary Ultras. I had the original Primal as a kid, never did get to play with Megatron (though I did have the TM and TM2 as a child).

When it comes to Magnaboss, buy the Korean Takara release. All the figures are painted nicer than the Hasbro release, are considerably cheaper, and Skywarp doesn't have that pesky Gold Plastic Syndrome Silverbolt has.

Quickstrike is a small, affordable, show-accurate, and fun figure to have around. The original Rattrap, while expensive, is always fun, especially if you can keep it from falling over. If you really want a show-accurate one, get the Japanese version. You'll probably pay through the nose for it, but it came in a 2-pack with a show-accurate Terrorsaur, which is fun as well. Lastly, Henkei Dinobot is particularly well-done. But of course, my favorite Transmetal was TM1 Megatron - GREAT toy.

Airrazor is great. however, i suggest looking into the one that came with the VHS, it had a lot better coloring.

also seconded on the Leo Convoy. he's one of my favorite convoy's ever. and he's relatively cheap too, i got mind for about $40. *with out box* i also suggest the dinobots from beast machines *or the universe versions too* especially the 3 horn. BW neo and 2 is another great place to look. hell Beast Wars Neo has a Cybertron character with testicles! and alcohol! :lol  i highly recommend that toy!

Hmmm, never did consider Lio Convoy. I was considering the red/blue redeco of Leobreaker, but I keep hearing poor things of the mold.

Quickstrike is a great little figure, a lot of personality and looks great in both modes.

I also love the original organic T-Rex Megatron. You've got Beast Machines T-Wrecks on your list so I assume you prefer that colour scheme but I'd recommend at least one version of the mold.

Would completing Tripredacus be an option? Or is it more of a "might as well buy a new figure" situation?
Personally, Trip is one of my favorites. The beasts are lifelike in looks and articulation, the individual bots are great on their own, and the gestalt is awesome (save for his right arm).

Quickstrike is amazingly posable, especially the snake head, with all those ball joints he has, though that could badly hampered if any become loose (though that is easily fixable).

Terragator's an extreme shellformer, but makes really clever use of it. His beast mode is a bit hard to "hold" due to how he transforms -- his front limbs attach to the body way back near where hips would be AND run into his robot head; the shell and tail parts don't seem to line up properly.

BW Optimus Primal (Ultra) - I really recommend getting him with all accessories, his weaponry is very impressive.
BWN Stampy - everyone should have Stampy :)

If you don't mind kibbles and are happy enough if a TF has a great robot mode, definitely Big Convoy.

Henkei dinotbot has an amazing deco, but he's rather pricy. I was never a fan of the universe version.

I also recommend Big Convoy, shellformer beast mode, but the robot mode is awesome with his huge cannon :D  Plus if you're into toys with some history, he's also the first Convoy figure to ever come with a removable matrix :)
