OK, so Pokemon Yellow was my first Pokemon game ever, so when I found it today I was really excited. I turned it on and started a new game, but I didn't get very far when my light went red, so I saved the game and turned it off. when I went back to it once my gameboy got done charging, I found that my file didn't save. Just as a test, I started a new game, saved right after I got Pikachu, and turned it off. Again, no save file. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I don't mind taking it apart, just so long as it gets fixed.

The save battery's dead. This happens to GB games that use a save file (more quickly w/ Gold and Silver due to the internal clock, though it does affect other games). The only way to fix it is to open the cartridge and replace the battery (check Google for which battery and how to do this).

You'll need to change the battery on it

And there is a Pokemon thread, which you've posted in...
