Since there a lot of constructicons in multiple colors (ie. red Rampage and yellow Rampage), it's possible that they meant that they won't be releasing them in all of the paintjobs present in the movie.
deluxe or voyager doesn't count on me .long haul and scrapper arem my fav. constructicons from the movie .then rampage , mixmaster , scavenger\demo
He's way, WAY back in line to get a deluxe or voyager edition IMO. In my opinion, the missing figures are: Leader Blackout Leader Bonecrusher Leader Starscream Voyager Scrapper Voyager Rampage Scout Wheelie Voyager Breakaway and Leader Stratosphere would be nice, but that's never ever gonna happen. And I don't care too much either.
Though this is a bit of a zombie thread, I must add Scrapper is my second favourite Constructicon design after Long Haul and I really look forward to seeing his toy. I hope it it has the chain and an excavator you can strap on so he can stand in for 'ze little one'.
Scrapper and Long Haul are my favorite ROTF Constructicons. If Scrapper does not get a toy I will shoot the Hasbro reps who made that decision. I will. I am not kidding, I have a gun right here and I will aim it and I will fire. >=O (i am totally kidding of course)
I'd be pretty annoyed if Hasbro don't release a toy for Scrapper, more so because of the series of toys like Dirge, Mindwipe etc. they'd be releasing instead. I'd hope that Scrapper is a Voyager, just because it'll work better for the Devastator I'm trying to shimmy together. But yeah, I can see this just being an issue were Hasbro lets the collector-fan-base down....again.
The likely hood that we will, or would have ever gotten a Leader movie Bonecrusher is less then nil. I'd say that Leader Blackout we all want is much more likely. a Voyager Rampage also seems like an unlikely prospect. (Not to mention unnecessary.) I think most of us would much rather see such effort and budget go into a Scapper voyager.
Precisely the reason why I wouldn't mind a Deluxe version of him: TFA Lockdown, which he reminds me of somewhat as well. I mean, Lockdown proved a deluxe toy can be made very tall (Wheelie too, of course). Also, I think Deluxe is more fitting; As mentioned, 3 Constructicons already exist in Voyager format, only Rampage as a deluxe. Though Rampage's robot mode is small, his transformation simple...well, his vehicle mode is barely smaller than Demolishor's/Scavenger's vehicle mode. Also, Scrapper wasn't that tall in the movie. I'm interested in just seeing how the toy, if made, would transform.
I think the reason a lot of us want Scrapper in Voyager class is so they could feasibly work in his wrecking ball claw gimmick. At least that's why I'd like to see him as a Voyager.
The wrecking ball could be amazing, more so if it also had the claw mechanism. But, I'd think Hasbro would go for the string method as with Leader Bulkhead (I think), whereas I'd *love* to see a proper little chain.
He's probably a deluxe. His vehicle mode isn't that big. While we're on the sybject, I think they should have made a leader class Demolisher. Voyager just doesn't cut it.
It's not impossible. Animated Oil Slick has a little chain connecting his barrel weapon halves together.
That was the voyager Bulkhead that had his wrecking ball. The Leader Bulky just got that dumb saw blade.
So it seems from the recent round of Q&As that Scrapper doesn't even have a mold. Hasbro said, "As we were planning out the line, we decided to focus on the four that had more screen time versus Scrapper and Hightower, thus giving them more of a reason to exist in our line." (ActionFigs.com - For Collectors, By Collectors. - Hasbro Transformers Q&A of August 10th) Yet Scrapper was used for Megatron's parts and reappeared in Egypt in robot mode.
