Now I have been thinking about this for a while now. How many of us (as fans) would think, or would like the movies to go beyond the third movie? I think they might depending on the third movies profits. And if it was done right, I would like to see it.

Yeah, a Reboot movie would be cool, but why would it be squeezed in with the 4th Transformers movie? Double-Feature by Mainframe- er, "Rainmaker"?

I'm more of a "traditional trilogy" guy, myself. But, if they can continually tell good stories, then I really don't care how many get made. Just as long as they don't off Optimus Prime. The minute he stops being in the movies is when I'll probably stop liking them...

Bring in a new creative team for anything beyond a third Bay film.

I hope the Third film has actual plot, and maybe a new director at the last minute of the script being finished.

    Yes, me too.

A trilogy and then hand it over to somebody else. I just wish the third one will be redeeming...

I hope they keep the same aesthetic though: I love that the movieformers are mechanically complex, have alien faces reflecting the classic insignias (not just the spiky 'Cons, but the generally squarish 'Bots as well), and generally don't mass shift (which for me is the best reason they don't all just transform into huge awesome jets). I think the next director of the series will undoubtedly be impressed by ILM's work and certainly not want to give the robots liquid metal faces.

Yes make more movies, but wait a few years (start a new trilogy) for the next one and have a new writing/directing team. I'm not sure they can go back to G1 blocky style after what the masses have seen, so I would like the TF style to stay similar. Hopefully ILM will continue to do most if not all the CG.

I would love to see a G1 inspired "resolute" style straight to dvd animated movie in between the live action movies.

I think for a real-life setting Transformers will/should always have some kind of complexity. A cartoon is different, I think cartoony, boxy, less complicated bots work better there, but for a movie with real life actors I think you have to show the complexity - after all, our machines are already complex if you look at them, so it would be weird if they'd change shape into much more basic forms.

Having said that, I DO hope for a possible reboot the characters will be LESS complex than Bayformers. My personal idea would be characters that resemble something that's somewhere between the complexity of Alternity and Bayformers. Hey, I think even Don's Transformers in the IDW Ongoing could serve as a base (not the faces though :lol ).

I would love them to keep the metal plates faces, even though it doesn't make more sense than liquid skin: after all, we equip our robots with silicon faces, too, to hide all the inner gears and give them a face that works visually. But yeah, there's something awesome about the platefaces to me personally.

What I love about Bayformers is that there's so much variation in character shapes, ranging from the good old humanoid ones, to wheelbots, to snakes, to insects, to crabs. Although I would like to see that toned down slightly, I wouldn't want it to go away fully.

The one thing visually I do want them to do away with though is portraying the Decepticons mainly as creepy insects. Most of them, and their ship, look too organic/insectoid, rather than robotic.

But I'm open to anything and I will not judge until I see what a possible reboot will give us.

And again, this is all just my personal opinion, so don't be afraid to disagree. :)

I'd prefer it if Bay stayed.

I mean, Transformers, at the root, is about action, and Michael Bay does awesome action :thumbs2: :bay

I hope the third has plot as well. And maybe a new director would be cool.

Yeah! More movies. Make them as good as the last two (I actually liked them.)
