This is actually an almost complete WIP. I an still needing to recast the head as this one has a few holes which are not visible at the moment. But I had to share my weekend work with y'all. As soon as I saw Classics Bumblebee, I knew I had to try and do Goldbug. Always liked that version better (less wimpy I suppose). Poor Bumblebee pissed off the wrong Dremel. And a hot wax treatment later... Just a shot of the paint shop. The original and the upgrade... Classics Goldbug!!! Like I said, this is just the initial casting of the head. I still need to redo this. This was my first time casting resin parts. Overall it was not too bad... just need to learn how to avoid the air bubbles. Also this was before the final paint touch-up and the clear coat. I'll take a reshoot when I finish up with the head. Thoughts? Criticisms? Tips?
