I havent played any of the them since maybe the first or second one came out. I enjoyed shooting zombies in the face and what not but I did remember seeming to be always low on ammo no matter how conservative I was with it. Should I open the Resident Evil essentials pack that was given to me or take it back for tom clancey or a socom game?
open it. it has both code veronica and resident evil 4 in it, which are both great games. I never had any ammo problems in them.
Man, Resident Evil 4 is an awesome game. Code Veronica's not too shabby either. But yeah, RE4, play it, play it some more, love it.
Oh yeah, code veronica is my favorite since the first (I enjoyed it more then 2 and 3 by quite a margin), and should be played if you like the RE story at all. Part 4 is a better game, probably the best of the franchise, but is for the most part out of the story arch. In fact, I would say Code Veronica should have been part 4, and RE4 should have been the one with a subtital. Anyways, both should be played.
You would trade a RE game for Tom Clancy or SOCOM. I guess there is no accounting for taste, I mean damn... nothing personal of course.
Resident Evil 4 is the only RE game I like from the series. Seriously, it's that good. Play it! It's a masterpiece!
Semantics. They sumble, mumble incoherently, and don't like dying until you blow their heads off. The fact that some of them sprout mouths out of their corpse stumps and rip your head off once you decapitate them is secondary.
You should be chased out of town for even considering returning it. Do you hate videogames or something? Do you?!
It is one of the best games I've ever played. Work to unlock the mercenaries minigame; once you kill a Ganado twice his normal size with dual-flaming chainsaws, you'll never go back.
Both Code Veronica and RE4 are good. I had some issues with RE4's story line seemingly veering away from the rest of the series but once I got past that I really enjoyed it. Umbrella is eventually mentioned and Ada Wong is a fun character to play. I haven't gotten through all the mini games but the amount of different things to do in that game makes it very replayable. RE4 was named game of the year by some of the industry media.
I really applaud Capcom for closing the Umbrella chapter and moving on. Instead of making another zombie outbreak they did something similar, yet different. And they not only fixed the control scheme, they created a new standard.
If you love shooting zombies in the face and own a wii I'd also recommend picking up Umbrella Chronicles. It's about nothing but shooting zombies in the face.
