Nice post. I enjoyed that and appreciate all the hard work those guys do to make it as realistic as possible. So many scenes where it just blows my mind away with how REAL the bot's and con's look.

Can you post them? I think I've seen them also. But if it's new, please share.

I think a lot of these have been shown either on HBO "Making of" or included in the DVD sets, but still nice to watch again. :)

And there's no bias at the academy awards. Just watch. That cartoon green lantern is going to win the Oscar for special effects. Complete bull. And that bear looked so fake.

I love SFX, it's a shame I'm a noob. I loved watching their section on both film's 2nd disk. These guys are Gods. I swear they are amazing at their crafts. Not just in this film but in other films like Iron Man.

I wish ILM wouldn't be so uptight with revealing a lot more stuff in relation to the robots, at least in the DVD's.

I have the Cinefex magazine that covers the making of ROTF. It's illuminating but as with many of the very CGI heavy productions there is only so much discussion possible on different dust particulate simulations and render times.

It'd be interesting to have the guys do a blow by blow of one of the Transformation sequences and point out which bits cheat where and why.

    Just for giggles.

I remember that book, the cover with Jetifire was sweet. I skimmed through it to see if it had any Fallen or constructicon designs or something of that nature. But like always, nothing more than a good read.

My thing really is exposure of the robots, in full, like from head to toe, similar to the TF1 DISC 2. They had robot spins, but not all.

Since we'll probably never get a concept book..:cry  . . at least they should share robot art.

I'm rather surprised that there haven't been any 'art of' or 'making of' books - I think this says a lot about where the marketing folks are targeting both the films and associated merchandise (young teenagers) and also the perilous state of book sales these days. Does nobody read any more?

Odd though. Many other less high profile films have them.

Seriously. I own art books, from King Kong (peter jackson) and From LOTR: The Return of The King, and they're great to have.

Transformers, I don't understand why we've never seen any.

New vid! Neat, too bad it's about baysplosions...
