Wax Pax Records & Toys -- it's actually down the street from Schaumburg Quake, making that drive a better value (unless you happen to live close to Chicago and don't mind the city traffic).

A little bit of this a little bit of that.

Have some spare G1 odds and ends. Lot of the CHUG stuff of all versions/era with a slant to the G1 stuff.

Graphic novels. Ertl and Johnny Lightning diecast.

I'm about 45 min from downtown Chicago, I'm in IN, about 10 minutes south of Cline and 80

Super Wal-Mart in Peoria had 2 TR Primes and a Blaster. Also some titain masters. I remember Apeface, Loudmouth and Crashbash. Other than that, they only had the (now) stale first run of Deluxes (Hardhead, skullcruncher etc.)

Hi chaps. Just moved to Chicago for college, wanted to pop my head in. I don't buy stuff, so I won't make any sightings. I'd like to attend TFCon though... any advice on how to get there from the South Side, what days to go, and any general convention advice?

anyone selling any fansproject function X guys?

I picked up a couple off the boards last week (code, smart robin) and I fell in love with them. Looking to add a few more of them to my collection instead of the TR offerings.

That depends where south he is staying... Blue line starts in the burbs in Forest Park, he may need the red or Orange or green line in first!

Yes. I'm sorry I didn't know there was more than one in the area. In the Riverside center on river Road. That one.

The Glen Hollow Target had ALL the little Titan Masters, six different types in all, each with two figures. I grabbed Clobber and Brawn, as they were the last ones I needed. I now have all the TM Figures I want from the released waves. Back to twiddling my thumbs and diving PAST stores. Sigh.

No worries. I'm still catching up on the first release of the titan masters. As well as still trying to find CW Sky Lynx...

Toy Du Jour was a delightful surprise, walking past while I day drank in this gloomy weather. Good condition stuff, and relatively good prices overall for a small retail. Also a lot more organized than some of the other used shops. Figures are often bagged with accessories. Just FYI.

Just putting out here. Any of the locals interested in a TRU Hasbro MP Grimlock 2nd release MIB, Deluxe Groove MOSC, Unique Toys Mania King 1st version MIB, Quakewave 1st release with alt hands, and arm mod MIB, or lastly MOSC CW deluxe Groove? If so let me know. All for regular retail pice, no inflation, with the exception of Quakewave, he is selling for the low.

    Hey everyone!

Looong time lurker here. Anyone downstate post on this? Chambana area is pretty stale for figures. I've only been seeing the deluxe Titans and voyager galvy and sentinel. There been any leader assortment along I 72?

I drive through Galesburg, Peoria, and Bloomington Normal quite often. That might help you some.

Nothing super new. Peoria riverside WalMart had TR prime, and a nearby Target had most of both of the Titan masters (waves 1 and 2). The rest is pretty much old news now, like the TR wave one deluxes and such. Haven't seen the wave 2 TR deluxes down there yet, but then I haven't been hitting the Walgreens too much, because I already have those figures.
