My Mindwipe literally has two left feet. He can't stand up. Anyone else have this problem. Better yet, does anyone have one with two right feet?

really tried to get into Titans Return but the quality and hollowness of most of this stuff just leaves so much to be desired. I would honestly rather start collecting FP's fx line if I really want headmasters and just call it a day with the TR line. max is awesome, but everything else just feels really cheap and not even close in value to the retail price.

think the day I finally stop with hasbro retail stuff has come.

Walgreens in Bolingbrook on Lilly Cache Lane had Weirdwolf and Mindwipe, so I picked them up. Left another one of each there as well as a Hardhead.

I see it a little differently. To me, G1 Max was a better base and battle mode, and TR Max is "just" a better bot. But Cerebros is freakin awesome in the detail and sculpting department, as well as benefitting from modern articulation points. So that's sort of a wash to me.

As far as the traditional headmaster, on the whole i like the TR toys MUCH better. it's tru that they are not better in EVERY way. The plastic is light, the toys are sorta small. But to have these traditional characters with modern articulation standards feels like a real treat to me. And I am just CRAZY for the sculpting and the detail on these guys. I can just stare at them forever. And you can pose the them meaningfully, instead of just sitting them on a shelf like a statue. There aew drawbacks, here and there. I don't like Chromedome's weapons. Weirdwolf and Mindwipe look sorta dorky in their alt modes. Highbrows propellers don't fold over. But as a set I like them at least 68% better than the G1 toys. And toe to toe all the new figures beat out the old ones in my estimation, some just by a wider margin.

I have Fansproject Weirdwolf and Mindwipe. They are pretty much perfect toys. I guess you COULD go that route and be happy. They do feel more solid, more substantial, have better quality control and are overall more imaginative, though the engineering is sometimes a little overdone. I would probably have gone that route too, but for me there's a pull to the TR line as a LINE. There's so much stuff coming out, and it's all inter-playable and built on the same aesthetic. The line itself sorta pulled me out of the FP direction for the headmasters. Time will tell if in the future I think I went the right way. I almost went the way you are thinking.

From someone who has not cared for most figures in the past years and from a company that has taken this line to repaint retool hell, I have to say the Titans Return deluxes take me back to my love of the Headmasters.

Max is great, the leaders and voyagers leave a bit to be desired but the fact we have all the original core Autobot and Decepticon headmasters already had me go buy them all, just waiting on Brainstorm.

Hoping for a decent Apeface and Snapdragon. It is sneaky marketing to give us the "remolds" first of characters that are clearly meant to be Astrotrain, Blitzwing and Octane is a bit annoying though lol.

So, I contacted Hasbro about the Mindwipe with the wrong foot, and they have corrected the situation by immediately sending me... a Skylynx.

    Yeah. So... OK then.

That is amazing. They usually send crap replacements... Did someone do you a solid or was that just random chance? :lol
