I don't know. That is really suspect, especially for an open set even if it is that rare.

I looked back at his past auctions - not just in completed, there are more on his feedback page - boxes, instruction booklets and some unused toys - looks like they are reissues or KOs and he has listed more.

I have seen one of the guys that bought stuff, rambrosinc, buy and sell TFs before.

He also listed a lot of incomplete G1 toys that were "found in the thrift store".

Anyone got a take on whether this auction was legit and what the deal is with the rest of his sold/active stuff? The inside of my G1 original boxes definitely don't look like some of those do...that plus the quantity thing...definitely odd. Anyone know who the "lucky" bidder was, or the guy that lost it?

this is seriously fishy thats an insane price, it can't be legit unless there were 2 bidders with lot more money than brains

This is the main reason that I never buy tfs from "professional TF sellers"
I've seen sellers bought cheap BINs thinking they are getting a deal(which is actually KOs) Then reselling it later and label them as "I'm not sure if it's a reissue or not, I don't know too much about it"
