Transformers: Dark of the Moon Review - Movies Review at IGN 3 1/2 Stars. I skimmed this and rolled my eyes at the "Optimus badass comment" because they were too busy posting "10 thing wrong with Transformers" to watch ROTF.
That's awesome. They usually very hard on movies! 3.5 out of 5 from them is good. The review is almost entirely positive. They say it's the best of the three movies, has a GOOD story, and by far the best action. Downsides are what we all knew they would be: There are a few points in the movie where the humor is too hammy, though IGN notes that it's much less than in ROTF. Especially awesome: They point out that the robots themselves recieve much better characterization and you actually care when some of them die.
sounds nice enough...cant wait till wednesday! Ironic how once again the 'goofy humor' is mentioned, one of the key elements to make the franchise more mainstream and appealing. Oh well, I'm happy the robots seem to have more personality this time, thats what its always been about for me
I'm not sure what they mean about the Decepticons and their human allies, but I want to see this creepy assassination scene really badly. Sounds awesome. As does the whole movie for that matter. I'm beyond fucking pumped. Also, Epps is retired? First I heard of this.
Best out of three?Hell yeah! Also,I'm really glad to hear that robots get more personality this time.
Well see I knew that. But it said invade the homes of. Invade has a negative connotation so I'm kinda confused. Why would they need to invade the homes of their allies. Then the review went straight to talking about a assassination. Weird.
To assassinate them... C'mon, there's being spoiler-free and then there's falt out not putting two and two together.
So the Decepticons assassinate the humans that sided with them? The shit is going onnnnn?!!!?!?! Hurry up Wednesday, you bastard!
They're probably trying to get help from the Autobots to get out of whatever deal they made with the Cons, only to get attacked and murdered by Laserbeak. That or the Cons used them for a purpose, then disposed of them.
Has Ebert reviewed the movie yet? Because I swear he's going to say that the Chicago battle is too long or he can't follow the fight scenes, something stupid like that.
"Of course, those who loathe the series won't be convinced no matter what, but that begs the question why they'd even bother to see the third film let alone go in with an open mind." The reviewer is 100% dead on correct with that sentence.
not every human has sided with the decepticons maybe they're killing the ones that sided with the autobots
Because critics always rag on blockbusters because they have to many fight scenes, because the critics expect blockbusters to be drama movies.
