There's some interesting stuff in there - comments about the second film, as well as an interesting "behind the scenes" anecdote about when they were considering having Optimus be voiced by big name actors.

I'd love to see that reel if there's one kicking around!

Interesting read. Especially the part about them taking their time on the sequels to get the script right and make a good movie rather than just cranking something out to cash in quick.

Hopefully they will stick to this premise, and the suits don't pressure them into rushing the movie out solely for the purpose of the dollar.

I'm really hoping for more Robot substance this time around... less squishys... and more metal themesong. I kinda-sorta like the Linkin Park track, but it's not heavy enough. Just when it's expected to get heavy, it pusses out. Needs a TF riff in there, too.

Wow, I'm rambling, I need coffee.

I wanna see those clips where Optimus' facial expressions were patterned after Deniro and Al Pacino. I wish stuff like that was in the Special features DVD!!!

They just need a new theme song period. John Williams to the rescue! :)

Anyone else notice that the home page references Star Treak in the blurb before hitting up the link to this thread? lol i didn't know they had another spinoff series... speaking of shows that needed a better themesong... Star Treak: Enterprise had like... the most AWFUL themesong.. be thankful we didn't end up with something like that!

I thought it was interesting the snapping pics direct from the monitor, just seems so unreal compared to tech today...but good to get a sense of just how far the industry has come.
