Cant wait to see Kaon and Iacon. And also when they are showing their concept arts, who are the Cons in there (the pic with Con faces on it). I can make out Megs and Soundwave but any idea on others?

I like "hover-car" mode a lot. And those jet levels look great.

every time we see the same bots, do you believe there are more playables than just that ones that we see in the trailers ??

 

Looks like the transformations in the game arn't quite as cheaty as we thought. I mean there is undoubtedly still pulling some digital tricks, but from what I saw of that 3D model that they were working on, it looks like a lot more thought was put into it then just shifting random parts around and swapping models.

Although they make the point that it is based on the G1 toon, they also point out that they're not shackled to any specific pre-existing story. Which is a great thing, because that makes it similar to Batman Arkham asylum. That's the way licensed games should be done.

I really hope this does well, cause that means a sequel, and a sequel might mean Earth based. *giddy*

 

Someone should make some screen shots of that video for stuff like the concept art of new bots and any in-game scenes of new bots.

 

I was going to do that. Since I'm going away, if no-one has done that in by Sunday (central time I think? I live in the UK) then I'll do it. I like the pre-rendered art like Ratchet.

This game seems to good to be true. I can't believe someone has actually made a Transformers game correctly.

The more I hear about this game the more I want to play it. I'm simply blown away by the wide range of characters you can choose to play on both the Autobot and Decepticon sides. I'm just praying now it'll be a fun game to actually play, because if it is, it'll actually be the first GOOD Transformers game.

 

If you don't already have either machine, keep in my that online play for all PS3 owners is free. You have to pay for XBOX LIVE.

At present it doesn't look as though there's going to be any difference between the two Next Gen console version though. XBOX's version will most likely load a little/lot faster than the PS3 due to the DVD drive of the 360--PS3's Blu-ray drive is 1x speed.

I'd expect extra content to be on the PS3 before the 360 if exclusive content is even going to happen; however, it should be noted that High Moon has plugged the 360 just about everytime they stepped in front of the camera. Whether that means anything or not is yet to be seen.

 

Not that I'm dissing this game any but, why is it that everyone says there's never been a good transformers game. Did y'all forget Convoy No Nazo? I kid, I kid, but seriously Ps2 Transformers animated managed to be better than the trilogy within which it's mythology sits. I still pick it up but lament the lack of multiplayer. Give some props to Melbourne for the first good TF game. I hope this one makes us completely forget it though

 

I know. I Hope we all don't fall flat on our asses if this game were to be bad.
