Not sure if this is worthy news, but IGN.com posted a scene-by-scene breakdown of the most recent Revenge of the Fallen trailer. I thought it would be good hearing them correctly identify the Twins, but I laughed when they called Blackout Ironhide. Did they see the first movie? The Constructicon mixup I can forgive, but the Ironhide bit is just a shame.

 

Why is that IGN.com seems to hire the worst people imaginable for their articles/videos? Do like looking incredibly uninformed about the subject they're covering?

No clue about Arcee, can't tell Megatron from the Fallen, no clue what the Fallen looks like at all...

Of all things, they get Demolishor right. I've gotten so used to hearing him referred to as "Devastator".

Then can't tell between Long Haul and Scrapper, or between Rampage and "Scavenger"? And then after correctly identifying Mixmaster underwater, seconds later they can't identify him on the bridge and call him Sideswipe instead.

They correctly spot Arcee chasing Sideways, so why the confusion about her being the black bike before?

This explains the Scavenger confusion - that's what they're calling the red guy with tread-whips.

Those two Decepticon protoforms - everyone wants to call them Megatron and the Fallen, or Soundwave, or Constructicons, when they're just generic protoforms. There is nothing to identify them to.

Wow, that guy is just so certain that Optimus is knifing Ironhide, the "SUV with a turret on the back".

Ahahaha. Are they confusing Jetfire for Alpha Trion? Just a fascinating mix of half-remembered trivia and complete ignorance. What the hell is the POINT of a video like this when they're the farthest things from authorities on what they're supposed to be talking about? Just let them ogle Megan Fox and talk about how big the robots are, rather than let them be so obviously wrong about nearly everything.

 

I loved when they said Sideways was an Autobot in their preview of ROTF the game.

Yeah, I have no problem with someone not in the fandom not knowing exactly who every TF in the trailer is, but then I wonder what in the hell is the point of the vid? It's just two guys speculating with no real info whatsoever.

The level of fail wasn't as high as I was expecting. I'm impressed that they got even half of what they did, right.

Still, what they got wrong was painful. Prime trying to pwn Ironhide? WTF? You idiots.

the people that work at IGN are MORONS!! honestly dont give good reviews for movies! and there biast! they only thing i use the site for is watching trailers and looking up new movie news or DLC for games news thast about it!! this "REVIEW" is proof of this so yaa lol enjoy if you want i just laughed when i watched this. They still say they dont know what the fallen looks like when we all have seen the toy, pictures and representation in the trailers...
