Looks like another mini MP may be heading our way.

It's just at the prototype stage and they don't expect a release til 2011-2012 :(

This will not end well. It'll either rust or break into a million tiny pieces.

most people managed to get MP Megatron into North America just fine.

If I remember correctly, I was one of the only people who lost theirs to customs.

Plastic doesnt rust. There's no diecast in the MP Prime downsize, so there likely isnt any in this either.

and that stuff on real MP Megatrons isnt rust either. it's just tarnish. it wipes off. every TF with bare diecast metal gets it.

Hopefully they'll be able to avoid the problems the real one has. They have the advantage of knowing where the breaking points are (elbows are a major one) and can possibly plan accordingly. maybe even give this one some more articulation in the arms, too.

Ah yes - I know what we'll do! We'll downsize it so it's exactly the same size as a REAL Walther pistol! What could possibly go wrong?

The iGear Faith Leader was an easy pass...Classics Prime is a very nice figure and I feel no need to replace it. But this is a sweet looking Megatron, and I'm afraid that I must own this.

It will be mine, oh yes.....

This has been rumored for quite awhile hasn't it? Definitely interested in seeing if they had to rescale some of the small joints or anything. MP Megs is huge with some already very tiny pieces holding him together. It's frightening to think of them being any smaller.

Not a bad idea, but seeing the fragility issues with the original I'll be staying away from this downsized fella. That and the 'lil MP Prime is, what? $100 or so? I know this is a custom job and we Transfans are used to shelling out uber cash for stuff but... damn.

Yeah those are the same pics for early last year, always good to see again. They are saying 2011 or 2012 though, so plenty of time to wait.

I won't be going for this given the fragility concerns alrady stated by others. Though now I want to get out my MP Megs and fiddle with him.

Wish there was news on the Shark Sentry.

Also, I just searched for IGear on Facebook yesterday and couldn't find them. Weird.

Still waiting to see how Faith Leader turns out.

This is a tough cookie though. you can see a step in the right direction with sizing down the stupidly oversized armcannon.

Megatron might actually be MORE durable scaled down. As it is, the die cast puts a lot of weight and stress on some unnecessarily small joints. If they're smart and beef up the joints a little when they size him down, it'll help.

Again, neither Faith Leader nor this is a must-have for me, so I'm content to wait and see.

Might be interested in this, like others have said though it heavily depends on how fragile its gonna end up being.

Yeah this was shown a good while back...

But yeah I want to get him as well.

I really like they down-sized his Fusion Cannon to be more proportionate for his arm.
