iGear just send me a color test image of TF-007 Computer Control Center
Gee. I sure would like to see some updates about TF003.
I would have expected it a bit brighter, but, hey, any orange will do the trick for me as long as it doesn't peel off! I'm so undoubtedly sold on this one.
Be nice to see it fully colored. Also, it'd be nice if they'd stop talking about new product and just release the crap that's supposed to have been out already.
It would be nice if they would finish a project and get it to the public. I am starting to think that these guys are a myth. It is just some cruel joke that all that all the online retailers are in on. Give us something already. The Autoscout, Grimlock Upgrade, Magnus Upgrade, Gnaw, anything.
On the same note, I would probably be taking the other side of the arguement if this was Fansproject, give us updates for god sakes. So I guess I can't win.
i like the white better
They seriously need to release something already, I've canceled all my preorders for their stuff b/c I honestly don't think any of it is going to see the light of day
I like the color, a little bit darker than I expected but I'm liking it. The playset doesn't need to overpower the figures.
I'm with the crowd on the releases, wish something would come out by these guys.
kinda have the feeling that if these guys end up releasing anything with the trademarked logos all over them, they will be the first to feel the hammer from hasbro, like the color though
Have to wait and see if hasbro does anything at all.
the more i see of this kit, the more i fall in love with it, soooo glad i already pre-ordered on bbts
I'm increasingly getting the feeling that iGear is full of great ideas, and the design talent to actually create wonderful prototypes, but seems to lack the ability to actually get to the production phase. They've shown us 8 different sets now, each of which has full color prototypes (With the exception of the MP Optimus trailer) including a fully transformable Sharkticon (Which will likely get them that 'cease and desist' order if all the other stuff fails). Yet not a single thing has actually reached production, while just about everything contemporary to their sets from other producers (Autoscout, TWO Magnus upgrade sets, several Fansproject items, a Classics Optimus trailer, etc) have all come out, some considerably more involved.
They need to stop making new prototypes and focus on finishing just ONE set, then moving on to the next.
? You mean as in stop them? or produce their own?
I preordered mine through tfsource, if it gets canned, they won't charge me.
Really? You know the design side is probably a different group then the production side. It isn't like the focus of one group takes away from the other.
Maybe they're waiting for factory time so they have nothing to do except make plans and designs for stuff they want to get done. Maybe they use these to gauge interest in what one to do first? There's a whole lot of possible reasons why items aren't available yet over just lack of focus. Sure it's a tease but I'd rather have a tease and a dream of items to come than nothing at all.
Mmm..., orange sherbet! How ironic it would be to receive this around Halloween. Love the attempt to make an animated accurate Arc/volcano scene. The only thing cooler and more delicious would be an animated Omega Supreme / Arc! Whoever comes up with that first (Has/Tak) will win treat of the year.
It's been said already, but bears repeating:
Hey iGear! Less piccy, more releasy!
You're a fan of Alanis Morissette, aren't you?
Agreed. Zero releases so far. I appreciate that they like to provide a copious number of updates, but dang. Ship something already!
If she knew what the hell irony was, that would make sense.
That's what I mean. Orange on Halloween != ironic.
Ahh... I'm following ya now...
To witty for me with that one I guess. Lets try to bring the jokes down a brow or two eh?
Separate names with a comma.
