That orange is just too... orange. It needs a very light wash or something. It needs some brown.
The colour made me cancel my preorder :(

    How big is this?

I am very tempted, but it's very expensive. I'd like to see it with some Classics Autobots.

Might look pretty decent with a brown wash over it.

Looks great. The orange may be a slight over exposure in the pictures. Anyway, I don't mind the color if that's what it really is.

In the tformers review they wrote that the locking system of the various pieces is very poor :(

Man, that review has me very nervous now. So this thing does not hold together at all, huh? I suppose I could super glue the whole thing together, but that sorta defeats the point of the modular panel system, no? Should I cancel? Or will nostalgia win out over reason for me? Eek.

My thing about that review is that it could just be a problem with that one set. There are plenty of photos out there in the world where the set is standing up.

I wanted this set since the moment I heard about it.

The colour, although bright, is not far off from the G1 colour of the Ark.

I am pretty sure I saw a video (possibly on the iGear site) about the panel connections and I saw none of the problems in the review.

All in all I remember what I was willing to pay for this set when it was announced. Taking into consideration the intial ideal behind the release was in three parts I was willing to pay a lot.

For the price it is at, I will be a very excited man when I get this set in hand.

I am curious as to how big the set will be, the review mentions coffee table size so I hope it is that big.

Finally, the review mentions 8 side panels, 8 floor panels and 12 wall panels. Is this an error? All the pics I see are 8 side, 12 floor and 12 wall.

    Thanx

All of those images have been on the iGear site for quite awhile. They've been posted by S250 in one of the other threads about this item: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...computercontrolcenter-testshot-sticker-2.html

However, they have posted new pics of several of the individual pieces that are new.
