I was lucky to find one on Ebay two days ago on buy it now for $25. I love how cool and rare it is. Shocking how Hasbro didn't make its own considering it had more screen time than Overkill and Slugfest.

 

Sweet deal! I paid $40 a while ago. Ended up trading Soundwave with all of the cassettes including a authentic ratbat and the scout tape. That dude got a great deal lol

This guy never had an official toy, right? I always assumed the animators made him up for that one appearance. Though they appeared to put a bit of thought into how he'd transform.

It's because of this website and this thread that I found out about the autoscout for the first time. I'm just a collector/fan that's grateful for a website like this, that has fans that post information for other fans to see and learn about.

I love how people get upset about a really thread being resurected but they don't get mad over current hundred page threads where the same comments repeat in a vicious cycle every 30 posts until new photos appear. Anyone know where I can get one of these for under 50?

They wouldn't need to design a new transformation...the same from cassette would work...

 

Did you know there were 3 versions, including yours, right? Wasn't sure if you knew or not. TFC, iGear, and KFC all did one. I'm not sure which one you got, as I haven't looked at mine for year now. Having all three, I found the TFC one to be the best; both feel, design, and transformation. Plush, it came with the orange crystals. iGear came with the blue ones but didn't find those to be that great, IMO, even though I kept a set for future use.

 

Which one of these came in the Soundwave looking cardboard box? I have an extra of those that I just found.

 

Yes, I saw there was 3 different kinds. I like mine, as I it's the most like the one in that cartoon episode,both in transformation and in look. But with way I'm just happy I found it for so cheap on Ebay.

 

You have the iGear one. I believe there were two versions and then each had two different Kremzeeks inside and maybe the crystals?? There were differences. Maybe even the box being blue vs black?? Been too long since I had them.

 

The igear both came in boxes one with crystals one with those odd electo Kremzeek things.
