that's without paint apps, right?
good question. would like at minimum his optics painted...
^Glad you two mentioned that. I thought he was looking down or something.....
Love the boat feet, he can totally walk on water. I shall call him Seasus!
ooo... I hope this is not the final product on this figure. It needs more coloring..
Just too small for me...
I think he looks nice! I'm sure these pics are without paint apps, at least I hope so. I do wish they would make him Classics-size, though, although on the show, he was always smaller, right? Probably Bumblebee-sized?
In the 80's show, yes he was. And that was due to the animators transposing the size class of toy into the fiction.
About the size. I am in the group that thinks it is too small. I know minibots are small and that is why we have a scout class. Legend class to me has never been a part of a main line (minicons not included) and are a stand alone line.
If these things had that extra inch on them they would have been a part of my collection without a doubt.
So instead I sit and wait for all these to come out and for anothe rgroup to knock them off and upscale them a bit. Which ever group does that and does so with good quality will make more money than iGear on these minibots.
And there are definitely zero paint apps on this thing.
Definitely picture without paint apps. Similar to how TFC took pictures of of their stuff before they had paint apps.
I also think it's too small. I'll just use my HFTD Seaspray or wait for something else.
Out of curiosity, how much is this?
Like $15 or something. Not a bad price for what it is and the context of 3rd party prices.
$15 shipped via iGears site to be exact.
And that is a very good price for a novelty piece like this.
... yeah, probably going to get this. I don't think I'd be able to get a G1 Seaspray for much less.
... I wish the blue was chromed, though. Unreasonable as that may be (G2 Seapray was one of my first TFs), I'd enjoy it.
That said, even if it came out like this (no paint), I wouldn't mind that much, since it would be easy to apply with a pen. I'd just do the windshields, goggles and vents.
add some painted details and I'm sold
it really does seem like that's just the colored plastic without any paint yet.
igear just mentioned on facebook that this is not the final product! paint apps to be applied yet
Nice! It looks pretty good though for colored plastic only. Imagine just a minor bit of paint app
