Huffer looks great. Seaspray's altmode looks better than FP's Seaspray imo, but the way Igear's Seaspray arms/shoulder attach, looks a little weird...

As if the arms grow out of his head/neck...

    * Edit... there's a slight gap between Huffer's shoulder posts and his torso...aaarrgh I'm in picky mode, which can be annoying.

Totally. The two only have a slight transformation difference and with this version the arms won't get messed up like the G1 toys. That Huffer looks sweet. Looks like my botcon huffer will be going up on ebay eventually.

Mine has been in my trade in the Junkion exchange thread for over a week. I leave clues everywhere.

What gave it away? The fact that they look like they were plucked out of the G1 show or the names?

When and where did you leave clues? I guess I got too caught up in the PP05 game to have noticed. lol

Same here, frankly. Hasbro and Takara seem to only do truly G1 accurate figures with the MPs nowadays (once in a blue moon the Classics/Universe figures are really accurate, but too often they take too many liberties IMO). I think these are awesome.

This is how the classics line should have went. It's good yes but iGears giving it up to the nostalgia freaks like me. Wish Hasbro would do this. iGear has won me over.

There is no copyright violation and because of design and lack of updating there really isn't a trademark violation either. I loathed igear when they did infringe trademark with optimus but these are original designs (as far as I know) and the names aren't copyrighted owned by hasbro.

Well this is sure to please all of the minibot purests who insist they must actually be mini due to their toy lineage.

Nice moulds; I just won't be buying them at that scale for my classics collection.

****Before anyone brings it up I will be amking the same post in this thread and the iGear huffer spray thread.****

We have all been told that FP works on bottom basement pricing. No major mark ups because they are working as fans for fans. It has been stated forever that FP has the lowest prices because they just fund their projects and they are not making any additional profit off of it.

iGear and FP are now releasing Seaspray and both appear to be the same size and with just as much design work and articualtion put into it. Will there be a price difference between the two?

If so this will bring light to one of two things.
If they are the same, we will learn that FP's claim to not making a profit is BS (not saying it is but we will know for fact by then)
If these are different prices and FP is lower, we will learn just how much profit 3rd party companies are trying to make on a figure.

Either way I think we have inadvertantly stumbled on to something that will give us further insight into 3rd party workings. As a 3rd party supporter and fan I think this is wonderful.

    Thanx

Pretty soon, I will have to stop buying Hasbro, and just get 3rd party stuff.

I would guess between 35-45 a piece....I am basing this on the fact that they APPEAR to be the same size as Munitioner/Explorer...I have no insight into ANY 3rd party group.

Ironhide and Ratchet suck, but these are sweet. Too bad it's iGear which means it'll take 10 years before we can add these to our collections.

I will definitely have to pick those up! BTW, I guess I'm kinda late on this but when is that Ironhide pictured with Huffer supposed to come out. I'm more excited about that!

Love em both. Cant wait to cop these. These will be my first Igear products. I just finished reading how good the quality is on their toys. Cant wait to fiddle with these. Wish they had guns though
