i think if mp11 does sell well then we will see the other 2 sooner than later! as they would sell like hot cakes too! hoping anyway as i'm passing PP03L! will be extremely gutted if they don't and i have missed out on the igear tc! especially as i'm planning on selling my original starscream and skywarp to buy mp11 :lol

I think it's perfect when you consider Grimlock. MP-10 may work okay with Grimlock, though I like Prime being a bit smaller. And Ironhide and Ratchet should be a bit smaller than Prime, then the other cars a bit smaller than those two...

MP Rodimus is the one who screws everything up, but I can live without Rodimus. Season 1 Autobots are so much more important! :)

As Hotrod he screws everything up yes, but as Rodimus Prime he's perfect.

Depends on which Prime you use. With MP-10 he works, but I use Faith Leader because I like Grimlock being taller.

I guess it just comes down to which one you want to display him with - Grimlock or Rodimus Prime.

You're right - it's not terrible or anything.

I may end up getting this eventually. Depends on what Takara/Hasbro ends up doing.

Hmmm, too bad they couldn't have done boxart similar to the Coneheads, I really love what they did with those!

I'm not really bothered by Cartoon accuracy (No Takara I don't want my seeker wing logo's upside down as someone was stupid at Sunbow 27 years ago) I was saying the lack of the spikey bits was a good idea more because they look fragile and they might get broken off I was not worried about how they compare to the show as that is not an issue to me given a choice I'd prefer the Thundercracker toys to all be the same colour as the 1984 Thundercracker toy though but I'm OK with the paler blue as a change of pace I suppose.

And the paler blue does mean you get a better mid range colour balance against Sunstorm and a better contrast to Skywarp or the Purple Clones.

My only concern with the Mp-03 derived moulds is I worry that they are quite fragile so it's a lot of money to pay for something that will just sit on the shelf and that you can't play with I might be better off spending a similar amount of money on a more durable release.

Oh, fair enough. I think we're safe to pre-order MP-11, though. I really doubt anything will be too fragile given their experience with this mold. I guess we'll see though.

Yeah, I like a mix of toy and cartoon accuracy myself, to be quite honest, especially when it comes to colours and small details. If TT's Thundercracker has that nice deep, shiny blue the original toy had, I think that's what I'd prefer as well.

I'm not worried about durability on either TT'sSeekers or iGear's versions - I own past versions by both companies so I can't imagine either will have any design or production issues... But I do want to see what both have to offer in terms of Skywarp and Thundercracker.

I got iGear's PP Storm (MP Sunstorm), and the quality was great for me. I've transformed it a few times now and it doesn't seem fragile at all. Your mileage may vary of course.

I'll buy it if they do another run with blue thighs. Not buying grey thighs.

Between the legends-sized minibots and this, i-gear are becoming really good at finding that one deal-breaking detail in stuff I would otherwise buy. :)

That's done because that's how logos are placed on real jets, the logos face towards the back so they can be view properly from behind.
