Finally. Ill have all 3!!!
PP03L Released! More pics on page 3 and page 11
Wow, looks great!
I got my preorder in a while back - really interested in seeing how this looks first hand, and how it fits with my MP Starscream and Skywarp.
I certainly don't regret preordering this.
I'm not keen on spending $150+shipping for an official version, and I don't have any faith that we'll see one hit North America.
I might wait and see what Hasbro does with MP-11, though.
im holding out for an inhand review of mp-11 it lookes good but there is something about him that looks off, and I cant figure out what it is.
that said i really like the color choice that igear went with for this guy, but im curious to see if they stuck to the anime look or went with the MP like paint apps
Sweet! Now show the robot mode! I will probably order this guy once he is near the release date. Hopefully it wont get pushed back.
Seems like they went with the lighter, show-accurate blue at least...
would love an update on the PP05's tbh, i wanna see some color samples of their final deco's and weapon colors (like chrome, metallic or matt finish etc.) haven't heard anything new about them in ages and their out end of December apparently.
Oh hell yeah - can't wait for those two especially!
Hope this is a preview of the new box art!
nice, first TF ever with eyeballs.
but i been waitin a minute for this joint to complete my seeker trio, thanks for the update.
Pupils on a g1 bot? RAGE!!!!!! LOL The art looks ok, but if the eyes where left solid red, it would look much better.
I'm gonna wait for the inevitable Thundercracker/Skywarp MP-11 repaints from Takaratomy. These look fine, but I like the changes on the MP-11--even closer to the original toy/cartoon model, and the redesign suggests a slightly less finicky transformation.
i do appreciate the lack of the other kibble on mp-11 (shoulder, etc), but the price is simply right on PPL03. that, and i wont have to wait much longer. but i do kinda want that cape and crown version, maybe when it hits the US, and i can just sell my walmart SS.
Yeah, I see your point, but personally, I don't mind paying $50 or so more for a version that I'll be a lot happier with. The further away TT gets away from Shoji Kawamori's interpretation of these seekers, the better.
BTW, your sig pic is pretty awesome--I love that episode.
thanks! so kawamori didnt do this one, huh?
btw, i notice this version appears a little darker than the protoype below. i do like it better, the original color seemed one shade away from a pastel.
Well, it's a return to the prototype version. Fundamentally, you can still see his hand in the design (an obsessively accurate plane-first aesthetic with rounded out shapes in the ' bot mode). That said, not sure how involved he is with this latest version. I'm assuming not much as it's getting away from his stylistic preferences.
This version just features the leg mods. No hip kibble!
I dont think its suppose to? the original did not have them?
Ehhh... I don't think it's that much closer.
I'm not a huge fan of those spiky tips on either side of MP-11's hips. Watching some of the old cartoon episodes, yes, he did sort of have them - sometimes. Sometimes he looked more like the iGear version (shoulder "kibble" aside - which is very, very minor).
I might get this and the iGear Skywarp, and Hasbro's version of MP-11. We'll see, though.
