    Is the conehead inevitable?
Can you NOT have the conehead displayed?

That's the figure's head there... you'd have to replace it with an official seeker's head to avoid it, kind of killing the whole Ramjet idea in the process.

Is the cone + head integrated in to the figure or is it detachable kibble?

It seems to be one piece. It fits fine in alt mode.

Looks like it fits in nicely with the Hasbro MPs.

The head is one solid piece but you can take if off and replace it with a MP Seeker head. But then agian that would defeat the purpose of Ramjet.

It does look great the the other two, just wish i had thundercracker.....

I preordered all 3 seekers + Sunstorm as 1 order from TFsource. The wait is gonna kill me but it's going to be a huge day when they all arrive at once. (I might have to use a vacation day from work to make the most of it. lol!)

I'm so excited about getting this figure! It should be here tomorrow. It's already arrived in Colorado, so it's close to home.
I agree with the cone-head. That is one feature I never liked about the three characters. Reminds me of that silly movie about the Coneheads from space.
But I can see what you mean about it being a key-feature. I doubt they'd look the same or have the same feel without the cone-head.
Still, with the G1 cone-heads, I've always displayed them without the cone.

I just got this figure in the mail today! I love it so far, the jet mode is super awesome! I'm a little nervous about transforming him into robot mode as it's my very first experience with an Igear product.

But so far, I am very impressed with it and I will be purchasing the rest of the Cone-Heads when they become available.
Will be posting pics later on.

Just looking at the picture....in hand is he too super white, (ie needing a black wash to bring out detailing,) or does it still present well?

He is somewhat plain white, but so was his G1 counterpart.
I just transformed mine and I love it! Only issue I had was his head pop's off easily, so be careful with that.
Also, I was trying to assemble his base so I can display him flying in jet mode. However, the stand that plugs into the base is a super damn tight fit. In fact, I almost broke the base where the stand mounts. I can only get it 80% of the way in. I'm afraid I'll break the base of the display stand if I try to push it in all the way. Not sure why this is so damn tight. So be careful with that as well.
Other than those two things, it's still an awesome figure and I'm glad I've got him. Now, on to collecting the rest of the seekers!

One comment, he could use a bit of weathering detail. But I have no idea how to do that and make it look good.

He is super white, but doesn't look that bad, but a bit weathering would be awsome! And some paint applications to bring out details. Overall this guy is badass! Any easy paint tip applications for people who have never painted before??

One thing I hate are the brush strokes I always leave...

Better to ask the pros in the Radicons forum, but it really depends on what you're trying to do. Just bring out the details with a wash? Or repaint whole areas? I'm assuming hand-brushed?

I'm wondering if anybody else's Ramjet tipy-toes? It look's like the little pointy things next to his jet-nozzles keeps him from standing flat on his feet. Mine can only stand on his tip-toes. I'm thinking of possibly shaving those pointy things.
    Know what I'm talking about?
I was just suggested using crushed charcoal for weathering effect. Simply crush some charcoal and brush it on. But that sounds messy.
I also thought about the old thin magic-marker trick. But problem with that is the magic marker doesn't stay black. It tends to purple and that look's horrible after a while.

I've thought about just painting in the jet's machine guns like on Takara's Skywarp.

take some water based paint, testors works best and thin it way out..dip a small brush in and brush a piece of paper to get the excess off..then go over the cracks and details with the brush ..trust me there is still some paint on that brush..do it to your desired effect..very easy and looks incredible..practice on some things first..called dry brushing..hope this helps
