Nice review! So glad mine is on the way. Quality looks good, really good. Like the extra head and hands as well. A nice Autobot Reprolabel on the left shoulder and it will be good to go! Hasbro, I really wish you had done this.

 

It's nice to see that scaling it down didn't sacrifice the mold quality and functionality (with the obvious exception of the electronics), though I would rather they'd taken a crack at Don's unproduced version of MP Prime. Where Hasbro/Takara's official design was meant to represent the cartoon model, I preferred Don's version which was much closer to the original toy's transformation and seemed better proportioned because of it.

 

I am kind of thinking this. I still haven't picked up a Masterpiece Prime but this little guy is tempting. My wife is birthday shopping for me and MP Prime is topping her list of things to get me, though we would like to find it a little cheaper than the $200 we are seeing it for EVERYWHERE!

Peaugh, do you have a recommendation of one over the other?

I might have to sign up for the contest if you up the other one up (assuming I don't win the WfC Prime which is pretty safe {watch as I win it }).

Pretty cool figure though, I like the way it's about the same size as classics Prime in vehicle mode, and then gets so much bigger than him in robot.
