Ummm all third party is IP theft. I think what you mean is direct rip offs liek they did with the Coneheads and Prime. I fully trust that iGear has learned very well to stop that practice.(That and there are no more MP's to scale down or copy lol) I have faith that Ironhide and Ratchet will be completely new moulds. They will rock our socks off and the only thing holding me back is potential price. I believe (by all hints spread across these boards) that whatever iGear has slated down the road will wash away the bad taste their IP "stealing" left in our mouths. Because being snide is his payment for correcting people after the facts have been mentioned 2 or 3 times.

Can you tell us where/how that Impactor head fits into all this? Assuming that WAS an Impactor head we saw, right?
When I first read this news I was about to dismiss it since iGear is known for just retooling official designs....but now that I've read the figure will be an original design AND in size with the Classics line I'm much more interested. I didn't care for Classics Ironhide and Ratchet, and I don't like them enough to spend the crazy prices on eBay people are asking for. So @#$% you, eBay scalpers, I'm paying attention to this. If Hasbro won't reissue Classics Ironhide and Ratchet with appropriate color schemes that don't scream "painted on windows," I guess I'll have to get these characters elsewhere like a third-party/bootlegger like iGear.
I have some pictures that show the scale of PP01 with MP-08, City Commander and a few classics. How do i post them?
They'd have to have bearings of Chrome steel to have a role at Botcon and wave their product under Hasbro's nose.
I wish I could help you. All I can think of is post them on photobucket and then link them here. But I would LOVE to see those comparison pictures. That was for Impactor. Never confirmed but I hope it's not Ironhides head.
