Dont worry, it will have a black head, they said so on their Facebook page.

 

I like what they've done to the mould but the following make it look cheap:

1. The coloured head - make it black/dark grey
2. The light gray body parts - if that's the final colour they need panel lines I think
3. The red highlights - WAY too many of them - he looks like he has chicken pox!

Other than that, not bad. Not that I'm going to buy these ones anyway but I am tempted by the cone-heads.

 

I agree with all three points. Especially the chicken pox  . Though, the red highlights look good on the Sunstorm version. I'll assume they're planning on doing the green and yellow rainmaker as well?

They said they are changing the red to a deep blue.
head and white parts will prob stay the same to seperate him from thundercracker.
If I remember I think therain makers helmets were the same color as the body

 

Surely they'll paintthe face silver or a lighter color...

 

I will not be getting this guy.... or any of the Rainmakers.... or Sunstorm. Not a fan. To me they suck. I will however get the coneheads and the original 3 seekers. I mean the Coneheads are amazing. And the way they moved the hip kible onto the legs makes a huge difference.

 

^ I agree on the hip part. Hopefully they will do SC &SW. They did say that they will do TC.

 

Heres a quick Photo shop, i think they should leave the helmete blue... painting it black looks too close to thundercracker.

 

I am liking these new Rainmaker Seekers, but I do wish that the Sunstorm version was a little more yellow in color.

I also would love to see iGear make upgrade kits for those of us with the original Takara Seekers. That way we wouldn't have to modify the original parts.

 

I think if this is suppose to be one of the rainmakers, the main body should not be white but should be another blue, like a darker blue or something.

 

Igear is doing what takara or hasbro haven't done in all this years so is a good thing hope this knock off are not to expensive so like me the new generation or people that can't afford 100+ in a mp have a chance now to have a nice and complete seekers, collection my 2 cents...

You're in for a nasty surprise if you expect these to be cheaper then $100.

 

Very cool, but I don't think I'm enough of a TF super-fan to get these background characters.

I'm still wondering if I can justify the Conehead Seekers - and I'd be much more inclined to get them. Looks great though.

For the record, I might be tempted to get an iGear Thundercracker as a cheaper alternative to the MP version - unless Hasbro finally brings one over Stateside...

 

I doubt we will ever see thundercracker from hasbro.... and im getting a weird feeling that we will not see one from igear either...  

 

I think we will eventually. It won't be at Wal*mart for $15 though I don't think.

 

I Hope one comes out soon... Just doesnt look right missin him the the collection.

 

I think iGear could definitely sell quite a few Thundercrackers to those who want to complete the original "trio."

I for one would buy one in a heartbeat.
