...but it's not Megatron, it's only very similar
Release: first quarter of 2011 ^__^
iGear » PP02
OOOHHH!!! Smaller version. I really dont care. I'll keep my original.
Better scaled in gun mode, but I think the arm cannon is too small.
This is going to end badly. That thing is so close to the size of a real one.
I know that's been posted before, but darned if I can find where it was posted. Look at the date on the page though, that was put up late June. Strange we've heard so much about the coneheads and yet so little on this.
True ! I hope that's really only a prototype. Anyway I hope that an obvious repaint will be Megaplex
Yes the pics were old, but sincerely I didn't remember the new name and the actual release date My fault...
I hate the original, will pass on KO.
I wnder if they will KO grimlock? I would be all over that.
I will definitely be getting that. I got their 2nd Faith Leader Prime and it's awesome and in scale with the classics. I sold my MP Megatron, but this fixes the issue of the cannon being too large and heavy and is about the same scale as the Faith Leader.
Taht cannon is piddly and also if they make the spine/ arm attachment peice out of plastick this thing will be in peices
Also soon to be seen on a news station near you lol only joking
This is the first I have heard of the name. Horror Monarch...aright, whatever.
I am also concerned about the fragility of the figure. It seems as the spine would have to remain metal. I like the new size of the cannon. My MP-05 couldn't hold up it's own arm with his cannon mounted.
As long as they are making changes to the mold, I wish they could add a bicep swivel. Though I suppose that's just dreaming.
I don't see a preorder listed on the site yet, but 1st quarter 2011, It has to be soon.
...wha... that's no Monarch! Where are the butterfly wings?!
That's my concern also - the ability to keep the fusion cannon posed up and tight joints. I'm going to wait for reviews on the toy first. If the quality is good as the 2nd release of the Optimus, I've bite.
Maybe Crazy Devy can make a slightly bigger cannon for it, and you know, ship it in less than three parts.
If they fix the fragility issues of the original, I don't see why this isn't a respectable KO.
The cannon looks a lot better scaled down.
If this isn't as fragile as the original, I might be interested. But I just can't see how it couldn't be, when there might be no die-cast, with the figure being scaled down.
I wish someone would make a scaled down arm cannon for the mp-5 But bicep swivel would be great too
An overpriced, smaller version of the worst MP mold so far = Easy pass.
