Has anyone received Attack/Thrust yet? I am dying to see what the underside of that figure looks like in jet mode. I'm a little underwhelmed by the three separates and how the heads show up in alt mode and I'm curious how it looks with the cone heads.

FYI - His name is Veritkill. A wonderful name we MUST use more often.

Ordered the starscream along with the silverstreak. I should have added shadow emissary in there, but oh well. Hopefully they ship out soon.

Messed with notRamjet again last night.

I really cannot adequately say how much I enjoy all six of these. They're exactly the CHUG-style Seekers I wanted, in a scale that looks good next to Orion and Hegemon.

    Nice reviews!

I did pick up the Skywarp version.

And the figure is VERY impressive. Not perfect, but VERY nice...

The weight of the figure suggests some decent materials were used to produce them. And the attention to detail all over is fantastic. The paint apps are OK. Kinda sparce (compared to a Make Toys or Fans Project figure). He's got the bare minimum of paint apps and the silver is mostly all where it counts. The jet pin stripes are straight and well done but the dark grey paint on silver plastic is kinda overkill? The face is painted in the same dark grey, too. Which I feel should have been silver... Its just to dark for the face...

I Gear did fix a few mismatched plastic joints and made them the same color as the jet body. Which I really appreciate. :)

Jet mode is awesome. I gotta say it. Very well done. And the stand was a nice touch.

Bot mode is nice. Engineering wise it is very well thought out. The conversion to bot mode was VERY scary when you fold / unfold the arms up... YIKES!

But the bot mode is what we all want, right? Very nice size. Larger than a voyager. Smaller than a masterpiece "Leader". LOTS of joints for posing. Ball joints, pinned joints and soft ratcheting shoulders, too. Many panels can flip over and hide jet parts. Very well designed...

The ONLY major problem I have is the kibble / posability.

Now he has LOTS of joints, right? But a wing will hit a leg. Or bump into the shoulder...

The wings aren't on his back. They are in his sides... VERY G1...

I honestly feel if the wings could "come out" a half inch, to give the shoulders some clearance, it would be perfect! And if the edge of the front wing arc could fold over, it would never bump into the leg...

So I would upgrade the wings and the wing / body connectors to give the wings more clearance to the body...

    My score 8.5 / 10

Well done I gear, but room for improvement...

I received the coneheads today. Quick thoughts:

    1. I love the colour of Dirge's wings! He's never been my favourite conehead, but this design really works for him.

    2. They've shortened the handles of the guns on the coneheads, so they don't stick out away from their arms as much as the main 3's weapons do.

    3. It might be me, but it's a bit more tricky getting the head stored for alt mode. If it's not done properly it forces the front of the place up.

    4. The bios on the back of the box are really cute, in perfect English, and pretty obviously written by someone who's frequented the TFWiki. Dirge's has "Oh my god, they killed Kenny" as a quote, for instance.

    5. The top part on Thrust's wings don't quite fold back flat for robot mode on mine. It's a very mild issue, but it's there.

    6. The alternate faces are pretty nice. Each figure can either have the standard scowl, or they can be swapped for a slightly different face for each character. It's a shame the conehead itself couldn't have been intergrated into the alt mode though.

Overall, really nice. I have the Coneheads and Thundercracker, and am now resiting the urge to pick up Screamer and Skywarp, and I've NEVER felt the urge to have a complete Seeker set before...

This might seem like a strange question, but is it possible to remove the flap at the bottom of the wing (the part that folds over for robot mode), so that it looks more like the old g1 toys? I really dig the look, and think the robots look great, but I'm not loving the alt mode purely because of the wings.

Does anyone have a pic of what it looks like with the flap off?
