iGear "Arcee" MGT-01 delicate warrior arrived today.
It seems like I'm one of the first to get her, so I decided to throw a few pics together for the board.
This is my first review, so take it easy on me :p

The box is about 8"(20cms) wide, 7"(17cms) tall w/flap
    [IMG]

The packaging is efficient and has little tape to deal with.
    Content:

The vehicle mode is about the regular size of a deluxe
    [IMG]

The bot mode is very well articulated.

You can get some really nice poses out of her.

The shoulder rotation is somewhat limited by the back-pack however.

Here are some shots with ImpossibleToys Arcee
    [IMG]

iGear's is overall a little bigger, and has more of a bright pink to her than ImpossibleToys'

ImpossibleToys' is a little bit more rounded and feminine in vehicle form
    [IMG]

The two transformations are very similar... kind of makes you wonder...

iGear's has a Classics look to her, as ImpossibleToys' has more of a retro style going on.
As far as the plastic & joint quality, I was pleasantly surprised with iGear's, and somewhat disappointed with ImpossibleToys'

Here are shots with Classics+ figures
    [IMG]

In conclusion, if you are looking for a Classics style Arcee, I highly recommend her. It's up to you to decide if she's worth 100$.
I would however recommend ImpossibleToys' version if you want to fill a hole in your G1 collection. Just my :2c:

Thanks for the pics. That season 3 picture looks great, and only reminds me how much I need a Classics Wheelie.

Nice review, and good to see side-by-side comparison pics too.

As far as look and aesthetic is concerned, I prefer the IT version, slimer and not so "marshmallow" looking. But the quality looks better on the iGear one though, I got the IT one and for the price it don't have the quality you could expect.

BBTS doesn't sell it that's for sure. I think it's only offered through igear directly.

Hey I got a question, can the heads from both Arcee's be Swapped? the head on the shorter one looks like it matches the taller one's body more.

At those prices, I'd rather scratchbuild. :p

Damn, she looks perfect with the rest of S3 crew. Not $100 perfect, though.

I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo envious right now. She is a beauty! All we need now is a classics Rodimus pin head upgrade set. I need a classics Wheelie and that Daniel and Spike set so freakin bad!

And what about the display stand - does it hold the toy weight? How does this more clear plastic on her fists feel in comparison with more solid parts? Are the joints strong enough?
Sorry for so many questions, but I can't help myself... :)

I already have the Impossible Toys Valkyrie and whilst the iGear version looks pretty cool, I don't think it's different enough to warrant owning an almost identical second version (especially at that crazy price).

In fact, I prefer the more slender Valkyrie over the iGear as the newer one looks a bit too big and chunky to fit in with the classics line up. I think the smaller size suits Arcee better.

More tempted than I expected to be. Thanks for the review. If I liked the face more, I'd definitely bite, but the actual face portion seems a touch too small.

Yeah the side by side comparision makes it clear that iGear wins this battle! Hands down. Yeah the prics point is high, and should have been set at like $70, but from what I hear each fig is made by hand, so that explains the need for inflated pricing. She will be mine.
