Why not just have an "Ultimate Supah Edition" pack that contains the cubes and the 'zeeks?

BTS.Toys already did a similar story for their Nemesis Prime trailer's roller bio. He was a Decepticon warrior that Nemesis tortured and rebuilt into a none transforming drone.

I don't mean to sound like an a-hole but what is so special about this? I just see a cassette with a arm.

Hmmm... It's nice and all, but it's hard to say which is better. They both have pros and cons.

    • Transformation? - The iGear version seems to transform into a vehicle mode that looks the most like the one seen in the cartoon in terms of proportion, the shape of the wheelwells, and the location of the claw.
    • Sculpt Accuracy? - The iGear one seems to have a closer sculpt to the cartoon, but they added extraneous surface details that aren't there in the cartoon. The Autoscout is smooth on the sides like the TFC version. TFC still adds some surface details that shouldn't be there, but to a far lesser degree. The shape of the actual claw and other "facial features" seem to be much closer to screen-accurate on the iGear version as well.
    • Color? - The iGear version is too blue. The TFC version is a far more screen-accurate shade of purple, and to keep it interesting it has a slightly metallic sheen to it. iGear's version does have the arm molded in the correct white, however.
    • Accessories? - The iGear version comes with various sizes of Blue crystals, as seen in the show. The TFC version has little stubby orange prisms; a byproduct of the orange lightpiping they used.
    • Availability? - The TFC version is only available as part of a larger set that costs 45$, but the iGear version is available by itself, with a few little bonus accessories, for 20$.

So it's hard to call. I can't say much about size or build quality because I only have the one from the GOW set myself -- though the quality on that one is top-notch. I can only make preliminary judgements and comparisons based on the photos they've shown us.

The iGear version appears closer to the cartoon version in terms of sculpt, but the TFC version is much closer in color. However, that said, in the end they're both "Creative Interpretations" of the autoscout from the show. They each have their merits and flaws, and the deciding factors will likely be availability and price.

Most people who have no interest in the guns and ladder from the TFC GOW set will opt for the cheaper iGear version by default, so it will probably end up being far more popular and prolific. If only the iGear version were more purple and less blue, it would be a no-brainer, an absolute coup for iGear.

In any case, if I didn't already have an autoscout, I'd get this one for sure.

These ones might be closer to the 'Toon, but I gotta say, I've been fooling around with my Gears of War version pretty much since I got it, and I love the little thing. That said, I'm getting both box versions of these, too - way I see it, Soundwave's smart enough to have more than one Autoscout.

It comes with Energon cubes. Isnt that enough to get that one? :p  It would be so fun to just play with the classic G1 toys like in the original season! "Soundwave, take out the Energon cubes!"

It definitely looks great and would look good with any collection. Im defitiely gunna pick this one up!

Thanks to the thread starter for posting this. Should help me decide which Autoscout to go for if the product becomes available in my neighborhood.
