I notice that Asian youths in my country tend to prefer English based tattoos rather than Japanese or Chinese ones. Me thinks its the "grass is always green on the other side" symptom. Of course, youths in the triads are excluded from the above observation! LOL!
Wouldn't it be funny if some tatoo artists tried to learn chinese characters, but because many of them are so complex that they just get lazy and lstudy hard to learn one... and that one character turns out to be "Supermarket" .. I can totally see Supermaket being a character you learn in Chinese 101
