Alright, I'll play. After wife, kids, photos, pets and well... everything else, I'd grab hercules and City commander. Those two I wouldn't like to try and track down again.

If I had FE Bulkhead, I'd risk third-degree burns for that thing. But alas, I don't. Thus, I don't have to worry.

Oh, and yeah. At the "screw the toys and save the family"-comments, of course we all obviously do that, but the question is basically "what are your X most valued figures?". Think of it that way rather than "we are geeks who'd save robot dolls over our loved ones". :lol

    This is simple:

My house wouldn't catch on fire in the first place.

Let's just say I'll end up burning trying to decide which two to save.

I'd throw everything out the window. Rather have some figures that can be fixed than have a ton of melted plastic.

Well I've been close to this situation in real life. The house never caught on fire but the hills near my house did. Luckily we had a day to prep before I actually did leave (voluntarily) to my moms house down the hill. I was able to grab all my TF's (most are in storage bins) computers and photos/ important files and such.

If I had to choose 2 though, I would have to go with G1 Shockwave and Jetfire.

If that did happen, heaven forbid, I like to think I would be more concerned with my family and my cats.

But anyway, why only two? If I had time and could physically get to them, I would sweep as many as I could into a box and run like hell.

Ok, guys. The thread states pretty clearly, "You can save" 2 Transformers. This isn't a thread about whether or not you would care to save them. It's about what you would choose if you had the chance.

Fort Max definitely. But as this thread also complicates things by allowing a second figure I'm torn between also probably Overlord or Sixshot.
Maybe I can tuck one of those extras under my shirt and sneak it out. :p

i know this is one of those fun "what if" threads, but an important aspect of it - my house on fire - ruins the fun of it for me. I'd rescue my wife, my daughter, my cats, and maybe snag my external hard drive, as it's near a window, easily accessible, and worth more to me than my whole TF collection. In fact, god forbid in a million years, if my house were on fire, and i lost my TF collection, i think i'd take that point as a start to not collecting them anymore.

Poorly stated then. You kinda can't ignore the other implications of your house on fire.

I'd grab the beat-to-heck childhood G1 Optimus Prime that my parents got me because I'm sentimental -- and because it's housed in an original box autographed by Peter Cullen. :D  After that I'd probably grab something expensive like Brave Max.

I kinda agree with most that my family and pets are more important than action figures, but if after I know they're safe I would totally go back in and try to save Masterpiece Grimlock and my RID Rail Racer,as those are by far my fave pieces.
