Brian Tyler is a good composer but the music for the show is a bit bland not horrible but could use a bit of edge to give it life. But if you could choose a different person to do the music for TFP who would it be? Mine would be Keith Emerson the guy who did the music for Godzilla Final Wars. His music is unique because it combines both triditional and electronic music to make something that's special something I did like from the film. It can be a good homage to the 1986 movie's music as well. Another one would be the composer who did the music for Super Smash Bros Brawl. His music does a very good job of sounding epic! So what are your picks?

^This. His score really stands out and it has a great main theme.

Brian Tyler is doing really well. If possible then I'd like Hans Zimmer (yeah I know, IF) to team up with him :D

The music is fine. I think the score is on par with the movies. So, if I were in charge, I would pick Brian Tyler.

I've got to agree with the OP. I'm not a fan of the new music. Although it isn't repulsive, it just isn't to my liking. Although that is just my taste.

Edit: I agree with the needs different composer part. I've never seen Godzilla or heard of the guy he is talking about.

I just want some new music. We've been hearing the same themes since the beginning. BW's major flaw was that it didn't have original music, just endless rock guitar. While the music that we hear right now is beautiful, we could use some new themes for season 2.

Daniel Ingram, the guy doing the songs for My Little Pony.

Mainly because I want to see Starscream break out into a deliciously smarmy villain song.

Seconded, especially if their score is similar to their Tron: Legacy score.
